The problem is a person can take a cobalt drill bit and drill out the key portion of the lock and wham the lock falls off

I saw that video of the older version. Apparently this is the redesigned production version. Seems more robust. But yeah, anything can be removed with the right tools. This is a deterrent like anything else. Most thrives aren’t going to spend the time. They’ll find another that isn’t secure

They don’t even need that, that style of lock can be opened in less than a minute with a tubular lock key impressioning tool that can give the thief a key to use it themselves.
