I started using the Reactivate serum from liiitlextra for the last month and totally switched from my previous serum for the last two months. It's been wonderfully. I simply use it one time daily with the spray pump that comes with the serum. It's really easy to apply, not oily, and no fragrance. The hair growth results are up till now so good, and it's just one month just and I will keep to apply it.

Just did this for the first time, 1.0 and then kind of worked up to 1.5. Thoughts... - The pain is radically different depending on the area. Different parts of the scalp have different nerve density. The front is more sensitive than the back. The face is virtually pain free at 1.5. I wish the reverse were the case, but whatever. The beard area in particular is like getting a massage, it's nothing. - I do not have any bald areas, just diffuse. Anecdotes point to needling being more efficacious on diffuse hairloss due to 'wave propagation' as hairs kind of communicate with each other. - I do a bit more firm 'stamping' in the small areas of lowest density. The rest of the scalp, I try to 'mow the lawn' with a very steady hand and focus on sections. - Only certain parts of the scalp make you cringe a bit. The pain reaction is largely mental; the human mind can tune out self-immolation as we know, so there's that. - There's a touch and technique involved. I can tell I'll get my technique down to a science over the next couple weeks, for example knowing how to break down sections do it all evenly, and also to know how to put a little English on certain parts of the scalp based on the way I know those parts tend to feel. - For the most part I sat in front of a full length mirror with elbows resting. To get the back I used a hand mirror to see what I was doing. The best thing is to have a bathroom mirror with three panels, the lateral two opened to provide visual for the entire scalp. Glad I got this. I keep a buzz cut most of the time as it suits me well, and just want it to remain looking like a fashion buzz. This is a lot more intense than a dermaroller. You get the full penetration of the needles, whereas rollers allow you to pussyfoot around and not really get in there. And as we know, most rollers are just garbage, spikes on wheels which are mostly ineffective. It's very hard to find a good 1.5 roller that's both 192 count and is actual needles. And you'd spend about 150 every year on those things, so with this you spend hardly more and get a better, more precise instrument. I went with the A6, or whatever the more expensive one is (goes up to 18k rpm)

I noticed you answered the same question several times but missed some pretty important ones. First question, If you're doing it in a circular motion/dragging the pen, aren't you just damaging/tearing the skin the same way a dermaroller would? Would it not be better to stamp it as opposed to dragging it? Second question is, What to do after the microneedle session? Should I shower to wash any blood off or should I just let it dry and shower the next day? Should I apply anything or is it fine to just let it be? Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated, Thank You!

These are my same questions too

From my understanding, since the needle is moving vertically in and out it the needle itself isn't actually dragging. Essentially the needle is "stamping " it, you just don't see it because the needle is inside the plastic

Sweat and sun are detrimental after each needeling treatment for up to 2days, or more if particularly sensitive. Also the inflammation created, IS the regenerative building effect. So applying an anti-inflammatory will defeat the purpose. Mention it only because many would apply something soothing right away. Women do this treatment to their faces, and decolatage areas. These are the skin warnings we get to beware of for obtaining the best results, that are stated to occur in 3-6mos. So happy for men to have an opportunity to resolve, what for women is an outright cosmetic disaster.

My question is when using this in conjunction with minox do the hairs fall back out after you stop using it? Doesn’t that happen normally when you stop using minox ?
@hairliciously5 жыл бұрын
there is a high possibility with any hair loss meds. Once you stop, you may lose all that you have gained. it has to be a life long commitment.
@Kiidq275 жыл бұрын
HAIRLICIOUSLY okay thank you. Last question do you think peppermint oil could sorta be a substitute for minox without the side effects or losing it later on? I know it’s not as effective though

You can mix Rosemary oil with almond oil it's very effective on blocking DHT instead of using any medicines like finasteride wich is very harmful for your hormones balance especially testostérone

an you had a hair transplant? I mean yeah if you lift your hair i can kinda see it. But holy cow such a good and thick result. Nice. I had transplant too but since i'm blond my hair started to thin out and i also lost a lot of thickness and hair. I'm thinking of trying the micxroneedling+minoxidil threatment. Currently just in the research/googling state. But i couldn't imagine that you can move the microneedler in such circular pattern. THX for the awesome infos.

@@LeGolemdesNeiges Forever? So the hair that grows out falls out again or what?
@LeGolemdesNeiges3 жыл бұрын
@@enzothatguy From what I briefly remember fromthe research I've done and generally speaking, if someone has male pattern baldness it means that their DHT (which is converted from testosterone and that everyone has) will be able to accumulate in the hair follicle and eventually the hairs will not get enough nutrients and die out. One of the ways people deal with this is with finasteride (a drug) which will partially reduce the amount of DHT in the body targeting the primary problem of hairloss. This drug disrupts the natural way the body works so this isn't healthy and can cause serious side effects so please do your research. So people can use microniddling in conjunction with the drug, but alone it isnt really targeting the problem, but can help with bloodflow and maybe other aspects. So if you stop microneedling and using the drug, DHT will continue to go to the hair follicle and making them fall, since this is a natural process for the body of male pattern baldness individuals. Im no professional so please do further research! Hopefully I was able to help!

I’m 17 an I’ve been thinning at my temples for about 2 years now. I’ve been taking saw palmetto, using derma roller, just changed how eat (pretty healthy anyway), been using low light laser therapy and various other things. Do you suggest using any minoxidil or sumn like that for my hair line?
@hairliciously5 жыл бұрын
I would recommend minoxidil 5%. Its known to give better results esp with microneedling
@seattlesoundisgrunge2 жыл бұрын
Also finesteride to block DHT production once you turn 18 (if there are any laws about that idk). I think I might start dermapinning after this, but I've been doing minoxidil 5% for 1.5 years and saw almost no gains whatsoever; it probably stopped it from getting worse but that's it. I started finesteride at that same time, but found I was sensitive to it and noticed side effects within days of being on it. I stopped it for a while as a result, but I saw a video with a Australian dr.s talking about reducing the dosage of you were sensitive. Basically you can take a smaller dosage everyday or just take the same dose less frequently since it takes time to work out of your system. Its about keeping a certain level in your system. So I began with taking 1mg once every 2 weeks about a year ago, worked up to once a week after a few months, then every 3 days, and now I've been on 1mg once every other day for about 4 months now. Within the last month I started shampooing only once per week, and between that and the higher dosage of finasteride in my system I've actually started to see an entire layer of small translucent hairs growing on my temple sides. I have 0 bald spots, but my entire top is diffuse, which my long hair hides somewhat. Anyway, minox barely helps for me. I think the finesteride is working but it's just so slow coming and after 1.5 years of trying to treat hairloss the lack of results until just recently has been pretty disappointing. I bet if I through in the pen that may help those tiny hairs grow bigger and stronger? Idk, but if I had noticed my thinning hair sooner (didn't because my hair is long and I was keeping it back for work all the time) and had known what I know now, I would have just started with the finesteride (even though I had some side effects the first time around) way back when I was 26 or 27 before the hairloss had really started. I'm 31 and noticed I was thinning at 29 btw.
