Good knowledge, good tips. Keep it up man, wish I would've recorded all the stuff I've done over the years!

You always want your fuse within 12 Inches from your pump. If you understand how electricity works. Closer the better.

Did you cut a hole in the boot that goes through the firewall ? Or just pushed it through some How ?

The Old Ground from the Old connecter Where did you ground it?
@xblaze2022 жыл бұрын
Good video, you just left out some parts to it like what you hooked up the toggle switch too, how you hooked up the white wire from the pigtail of the fuel pump connector etc.

Do both relay and pump “grounds” connect to 85 or just the relay ground to chasses and the ground for pump connector goes on chassis as well ??
@TheBoostedRose2 жыл бұрын
Sorry I haven’t responded 😅 they both go to the chassis; terminal 85 needs to go to a ground, and the fuel pump connector needs a ground as well. I just happened to ground them both to the same place.

What did that ground wire that’s under the steer wheel come from?
@TheBoostedRose2 жыл бұрын
That’s the ground for the kill-switch

Hey, just gotta 98 GSX, I wanna install a kill switch, could you tell me where exactly the Fuel Pump Relay is? I'm not trying to rewire the whole thing, I just wanna install a kill switch. Don't have an owners manual and google gave me too many different results, didn't know what to follow...

Your fuel pump relay should be behind the center of the instrument panel, near the ECU. I don’t know exactly where it is since I just bypassed it, but this link should help you: www.dsmtuners.com/threads/mfi-mpi-relay.263224/

Hi there broh! Quick question. This applies for non turbo?
@TheBoostedRose3 жыл бұрын
Yessir! A rewire is gonna be needed to push more fuel and prevent voltage drop. The actual process is similar to the turbo cars, but I think the non-turbos are a little different. Here's an excellent source that I hope helps! www.2gnt.com/index.php?d=Fuel%2520Pump%2520Re-wire

How much did it cost to get the rewire kit?
@TheBoostedRose3 жыл бұрын
I bought all the parts from O'reily's, and it came out to be about 10 bucks for the wiring, relay, in-line fuse, and quick disconnects :)

Wait a second you connected the BATTERIE power wire to number 30 and now the blue wire you snip off “also to 30 on relay”????
@TheBoostedRose2 жыл бұрын
The battery wire goes to a fuse, and then to terminal 17. The old power (blue wire) goes to terminal 86 (that’s the new remote wire). Terminal 30/51 goes to the pump and will provide the power. Terminal 85 is the ground for the relay.
