Just curious, how many cases do you personally know of where a woman has falsely accused a man of sexual crime? Cause last I checked, the stats say that fraudulent reports of sexual harassment were actually lesser than those for any other crime. And yet, it's the one where the victim is the most likely to be disbelieved. I think most of the fear of false accusation, comes from men who occasionally cross boundaries and then worry they'll be called out for it.

I honestly parental guidance is required for both girls and boys. Parents should encourage daughters to be strong (My mom and I were travelling and a guy kept staring at me, me and my mom stared back at the guy till he lowered his head), similarly guys should be more encouraged to open up more (talk about abuse, harrasment openly)

I believe this isn't the right way- It doesn't explain how mentally disturbed her son would be after hearing it, If I was him then I would have followed my mom to work the next day. No idea how it would eventually end up. Instead of doing this, start raising your voice against sexual harrasment then and there itself or I feel the right way of dealing is, Report it to the nearest police station. If your complaint isn't taken seriously then escalate it to the higher officials. Incase if its still not resolved then confront these harrasers by creating a scene at that very moment and hope, that some guy who has some humanity left in him, might come for your support or they might stop it coz u decided to gather a crowd and embarrassed them in public. If this works then at least you save some other girls from going through this harrasment. Please understand ladies if you don't stand up for yourself then no one else will.

Sister of the boy gets eve teased everyday. And the brother of the girl eve teases other girls outside. So, here the question is how the hell this can be stopped ? The most basic solution to this problem which comes in mind is that, this problem should be discussed within home and specially mother & sister should give their own example of getting eve teased & the problems they face daily to their son, brother or husband and should ask them first itself to stop doing those behaviour to other girls & women outside. This will work like a chain from within the every home and this problem can be permanently solved only by this method. Hope you get it now. 😊
