Gold buttons on ladylike jackets and cardigans - I find them ageing at my age (58) because they look too formal, I prefer horn buttons or buttons the same colour as the jackets/knitwear.

I bought a lovely semi-sheer long-sleeve sweater from Cos in steel blue (they also do it in white and black). I've always loved sheer tops even at my age (58), I never dress sexy but I love love love semi-sheer, it's subtle, chic, and you don't have to wear it with a nude bra, you can wear it with a black or other contrasting colour bra. What I love about my steel blue sweater is that this colour is hard to find, very classy imo and it creates a monochrome outfit when worn with denim. So I always look out for steel blue, sometimes called aviator or air-force blue, it's a great colour and chic too. i was lucky enough to find corduroy trousers/pants in steel blue at Marks & Spencer's last year (sadly no longer available) - a great find and similar to those worn by Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

Hey lady!!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!! Sweaters are my all time favorite item of clothing, so this video is right up my alley !! I do have all types of these sweaters, but I'm just now really starting to learn how to style crudic ones. Believe it or not, because of being a little bit more busty I've always gone for v-neck sweaters... And I still love those but I love layering the crew neck sweaters a lot better. It's just easier... I don't know how to explain it... I guess to me it just looks better that way... I appreciate all the styling tips when it comes to sweaters because I feel like the more I try as I get older it makes my wardrobe seem newer... And I always love and appreciate that you always recommend shopping our closets first and learn to use our investments well!!! I know one day, I need to declutter a bit of my sweater collection, but I'm not there yet 😂... they are way too versatile for me, and living in NC, they tend to be my outerwear up until late December/early January during a typical mild winter.. Sounds like you need to keep your sweater collection! If you haven’t worn a stash for a while, check them out. Last year, I did a deep clean of my stash and found several hit with moth but luckily hasn’t spread to much!

Good morning from London lovely Ziba and thank you for another excellent video. I am petite, 58, slim with a tummy and rather than cropped knitwear I prefer jumpers/sweaters, vests and cardigans that stop at the hip, so they're not too long but they disguise my tummy a little, and they should preferably skim the waist/hip area rather than being too fitted or too loose. I learnt a lot from your channel and I appreciate all the efforts you make trying on different outfits, accessorising, etc. You look fantastic in everything you wear, you have a great figure and an even lovelier personality. Regarding 9:26 I bought a skin tight dress to wear under sweater dresses. 2 actually, I wear according to thickness of sweater dress. It acts as a thermal under layer as well as smoothing out bumps etc.

@ hi Ziba - the blazer is loose fitting- single button - big houndstooth pattern.

in terms of colors: think denim, black or white trousers or pencil skirt. A top you can do the same of even a pop of color like red or burgundy. In terms of shape- if it’s a cropped jacket, wide leg or straight trousers or jeans look great, add a belt! If it’s a longer blazer just make sure the pants aren’t too baggy. A maxi skirt and tailored pants would look amazing with knee knee high boots or ballet flats. Always an option to belt your blazer for a Dior inspired silhouette! Hope that helps❤️

Just for my opinion red lipstick is not according with brown pull over. I know that brown is the colour of the year, but red lipstick is the best, so I don't wear brown, dark green, grey, the same red, black, blue.... Burgundy red lipstick and burgundy sweater........ Fire red lipstick is very fine on you and I always wear it
