Yes, it definitely puts a 5amp load on the relay. No, it would be reliable ae s continuity tester

Cool tool CP. i have relay Buddy kit That it comes with adapters for shielded 👍🔧 this tool be good for newer relays that i may not have adapters for but relay buddy is faster for the more common fuses. It also does 5 pin

I like the tool but much of the time swaptronics will let you quickly assess if a particular relay is bad way faster than this method, the tool has its place but I find more problems looking at the pins for ground on the load side and 12v from the fuse or other relay and then ground from the control side (pcm or module turning on the relay). That being said I can see this tool being useful but it only checks the relay and can't check anything on the vehicle harness side where I see the majority of problems.

Thats all its meant to do is verify the relay is bad if you check all all the circuits i can swap parts all day but I want to know 100% that relay is bad thats all so I understand what you're saying!! Thanks my friend
