While I didn't mention it in the video something else to keep in mind is the challenge log. You unlocked it through the "Rising to the Challenge" quest found in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.5, Y:10.9). Essentially it just gives you bonus exp and gil each week by doing the things you'll already be doing.

worth noting you can also get the road to 90 buff on existing characters for taking the free world transfer to a new (specifically new, not preferred) world (such as any world on Dynamis at the moment)

The main issue with the wondrous Trail book is that you need a buttload of stuffs unlocked up to 90. If you were like me and did the full ARR to EW trip, you likely missed A LOT of dungeons that you have to unlock.

Before Dawntrail I was always able to complete the wondrous tails book, but now I need to have a lot of things unlocked and I'm not even close, so it's pretty much useless for now

@@Bueno_Y Unlock them then? It literally takes less than 1 hour to unlock everything. I had everything unlocked from shadowbringers.

the earrings from pre-order are content, not your actual level, so the newest one, is you get that bonus, doing lvl 90 and below content.

you can level DPs with the squadrons to 60 or 65 with the DMG buff they get, you can run the vault in 15 minutes which allowing for que times is quicker than running with people
@MrBCWalker014 ай бұрын
Daily routine: EW Battle Tribe, ShB Battle Tribe, DT Daily Hunt Bills (total is 11M exp). If you're 90, that and a few FATEs is a level right there. At 91+, that gets up no less than half-way, after which _one_ Aglaia run will get you a level as that (with buffs) is 11M or so per run. So do a Roulette (or turn in a Khloe book), then run Aglaia and you're getting a level an hour or less. You can comfortably level two Battle Jobs 90-100 per week this way, and maybe level a Crafting Job as a break here and there.

Did they get rid of the "Preferred" status for servers?
@TheNastyNamazuАй бұрын
No, its still there, but Na servers are constantly being populated so its not as common for them to be preferred. That being said most the Dynamis servers still have the bonus.

@bate010715 ай бұрын
Tedious and mind numbing are fairly subjective. I think he covered the efficient methods depending on level range which was the point of the video. The only times I have enjoyed leveling are running POTD with friends. Other than that it’s mostly a grind.

Okay, so after 50 i am kinda f***ed and HAVE to wrap up ARR in order to level faster than molasses, fan f***ing tastic...Wouldn't have been much of an issue if it wasn't for the fact that you HAVE to beat the main stories to gain access to the next parts of the world, instead of just giving you a ticket and sending you on your merry way into the next expansion zone since you own it and are of level no fuss no muss, but no, gotta slug through the post ARR crap and partake in the hardest battle of resisting the urge of uninstalling this absolute gods damned snore fest of a game...Why is this popular again??? Honestly at this point, i question why i am even still playing this damn game. The combat is boring, the story is boring, the world is boring, the dungeons are boring. Honestly the only thing i'll praise it for are the flashy attacks, but then again, you can find those kinda flashy high pixel count abilities in any asian made game since they are more addicted to them than russians are to their vodka. Hell, Mobile Games have the same pixel fetish, it's nothing new or impressive. God i hope Throne and Liberty is good...

Story is boring in ffxiv ? I mean it aint the best there is but boring ? Also, aged like fine milk with the ToL part, oof. Shame you cant enjoy the game for what it is. Any other mmorpg you tried and maybe found fun ? I got into WoW Vanilla+ recently and thats a fun rpg experience.
@ForemostCrab716 күн бұрын
@@JeyKalda I'd say Majority of MMOs i've played are more fun/interesting, and i've played More than my fair share of MMOs. And keep in mind i said post ARR, and ARR Especially Post ARR is considered the absolutely worst part of FFXIV, it's just Words for the sake of Words, i've sat through majority of conversations of ARR, and they talk for Minutes that can be conveyed in Seconds, the fluff they add is simply not needed. Everyone says it gets better, but if i have to slug through 100 or so hours before it starts getting good, i'd rather just play something else. Pretty sure i am nearly done with post ARR, but it's so boring and mind-numbing that i find it hard to even force myself to hop back in... Did play Vanilla and some SOD, but i had enough of solo play in WoW back when i did it roughly 17 years ago, ain't going through it Again. I still think Guild Wars 2 is one of the better MMOs, mic quality of their cutscenes needs some serious consideration, but the game's been around for so long at this point it'll probably never change, at the very least it's story is rather interesting and builds up well. As for ToL, ugh, don't f***ing remind me! The combat is good, the world looks nice, story is so-so from what i've played, but the more of what a friend who has played it a whole hell of a lot more has told me how the game functions later on, yea, pretty sure i made the right call uninstalling that mess. Fingers crossed that Ashes of Creation doesn't crash and burn aswell.
@kotblini_14 күн бұрын
There is no reason to play the game if you're skipping the story. It's just a waste of time otherwise. That being said, the story is really unmatched compared to other mmos. Usually, mmo story is some side shit that distracts from the main game. In ff14, the actual game is side shit that distracts from the story. You mention GW2. GW2 is kind of a perfect example of this, the gameplay, dynamic events, pvp, and class design are incredible, truly 10/10.. but the story (at least the 3 recent expansions) is just absolute dumpster tier lol.
@snowdropfox575414 күн бұрын
@@ForemostCrab7 "it's story is rather interesting and builds up well" - The base game story is just as tedious as ARR (and the Zhaitan fight is just the laziest thing in the universe), just 50x times faster - Season 1+2 are post-ARR levels of dialogue torture - HoT, PoF, Season 3+4 are top tier - EoD is mediocre at best Everything else is Wuk Lamat Tier, especially Aurene after S4. Season 5 still makes me puke every time I do Dragonstorm, SotO was unequivocally garbage and JW is the 2 hour slow-talking bear exposition expansion, where nothing happens. GW2 story died after Season 4, which isn't surprising as that was supposed to be the end point originally.
