I use the stinger as basically a knife with the extra bonus of having a gun. Melee muzzle, no stock, max movement.

Same here, and in combination with weapon swapping into slide, you extend your slide range massively in comparison to slide cancel with your primary weapon

@@ampersandyyy Before you slide, you swap to your secondary (in this case the wsp stinger) to increase the slide range and in the slide you can swap back to your primary. I personally have my swap weapons button on my thumb button on the mouse. So instead of just slide canceling with my primary, I always swap to my secondary and because the movement on the wsp stinger is the best, the increase in slide range is just too good. Its like when swapping to that weapon you get a short increase in movement and when switching back to your primary you still benefit from the movement of your secondary (when sliding). I hope I kinda explained it good enoughXD

The real fun in this gun comes from building it the same as the Swarm except for the quickdraw grip and re-gunning when you're empty instead of reloading😁

I wouldnt expect you to do full gun guides for the MW22 guns, just an overview picking out the best from each weapon category and showing how they stack up against their MW3 counterparts (comparing TTK, sprint to fire, movement speed, etc to MW3 averages for SMGs, and so on)

the recoil is okay really, close up at least, what makes it hard to use is the insane visual recoil. you overcompensate like prebuff sidewinder. unless you're playing search and need the max tac sprint speed possible, you should always use a stock which drastically cuts down that visual recoil. on another note could we see an overview of the rgl-80 grenade launcher?

Honestly one of my favourite guns in the game, my only big complaint is the mag size, could definitely do with a 50 round mag, or, if SHG really loves me specifically, 100 rounds.

Since the gauge mostly covers the target and can't use the sights, I became convinced that this was a gun for tactical stances. Also, even if you see that tactical stance is allowed in all two stocks.

Where did you get the 120ms ttk with akimbo from? The base ttk is 300 so in theory akimbo would be 150 but it destroys your fire rate so it’s probably closer to 200

No, in theory (if the fire rate isn't affected) it's 120ms. If it kills in 6 bullets and there's 60ms between each shot, then 5x60=300. If it kills in 3 shots, then 2x60=120. First bullet is obviously instant, so it shouldn't be included in the ttk calculations.

Any chance of doing a revisit of shotguns for a hardcore video? It's the only gun you didn't show hardcore ranges and with your consistent 1shot range, I'm very curious especially with the ball rounds that halve the number of pellets shot. I think that round actually works well in hardcore over the standard round but I'd love to see your testing. As always Ace, thank you for all the content you make and how efficient and accurate you are with patch videos and weapon balancing.

Hey Ace, If you made a gun guide only for the best mw2 guns that are good enough to be competitive against the mw3 guns, I would definetely love to watch that! I think people (including me) dont really know if there are any mw3 guns worth playing and worth unlocking (I didnt buy the previous cod so I dont have all of them, and I definetely will not try unlocking all of them, when I know that chances are that they suck). If there are any mw2 guns powerful enough for that at least.

The WSP Stinger is easily the worst sidearm. Also, akimbo noticeably reduced your fire rate (just like with the WSP Swarm) but it’s not mentioned in the advanced stats, so I don’t think the 120 ms TTK is accurate. The gun definitely needs a bit of a buff imo

I've found a lot of success with this gun in HC. It's a great pocket SMG alongside a sniper, marksman or battle rifle. I also do the opposite, a great SMG build and a TYR sniper rifle.

Given that I primarily use a secondary for close-quarter situations where I don’t have time to reload, I think it works just fine. With that good hipfire spread you can “spray and pray” quite effectively lol. Still not my favorite, but it works.

I like to use the stinger for speed and as an smg. It's not the best but it's fun. It could definitely use a buff in the damage range and bullet velocity departments though.

Can anyone tell me on how to unlock the longbow. I can not activate it as an armory challenge (already 5/5 complete). I even finished the tasks to unlock the jak conversion kit. Still, I can not equip the longbow (base version is locked). I played zombies for hours and haven’t found the longbow. Why is this bug still in the game. I have the same issue with the striker 9 and multiple other weapons…

The gun definitely isn’t great, but it’s really fun to use all of the attachments that maximize the sprint speed. You feel like a crackhead running around. Then the recoil on it is hilarious. It’s actually cool to put the 1 hit melee muzzle on it though. Then it makes it like a better knife that you can shoot if you want.

Yeah I think ace got his math wrong. If you use akimbo, the stinger has a reduced rate of fire so it's not simply 2x the speed it kills in. He should get the checked again.

Is mw2 weapons generally the same when you covered it back then despite the health increase? I know one of the obvious differences is the lack of mw3 attachments plus maybe other attachments that came later in that games lifecycle

With the way the spawn system works, don’t see how you get away with not having a suppressor on your class setups? I get hunted down in my lobbies when I don’t. I always be moving, but the game spawns the people I killed near me, then they come looking for me and since my teammates are usually no help, I get teamed.

The Micro UZI . Loved it with a 100 round drum on MW III, best for its fast TTK on Close Quarters and rate of fire when single use. Recommend using any grip to handle your gun kick control. Shadow strike suppressor 100 round drum 9mm armor piercing bullets Stock of choice Or a laser sight of choice for hip firing. (If not using stock)

I’m not a fan of the WSP Stinger. The large amount of recoil makes this one an up close and personal-type sidearm even when using akimbo, the L400 laser as well as other hipfire improved attachments. In my opinion, I won’t bother using the stinger every now and then on my secondary slot in all my multiplayer loadouts.
