Its damage drops off really quick. Also side note, every weapon can stagger. You can stagger a 2 star troll with a crude bow. Fire arrows seem to be the best overall early game. Easy to craft and are effective against all early game enemies. But for clearing skeletons in small spaces the staghammer does it the best. Its just beat by the other weapons in every other aspect. Axe does more dps plus its a good tool to have on hand. Bow is great at range and has a couple different types of ammo that you can easily switch between depending on the enemy your facing. And spear is a good middle ground. More range than an axe, but less than a bow. Higher dps than a bow tho. The most op weapon in the game tho, hands down, an oak log rolling fast. I 1 shot a hoard of greydrawfs with a well placed log. Had a shaman in there too.roll some logs up a hill and build something to keep it still. Kite the enemy in and delete the item holding the logs. Also works to quickly grief a friends home.

EZ dungeon strat: get a round shield, get a flint spear. Parry (not block) the enemies. Guaranteed stagger (that means critical damage on the next damage tick) and a lasting opening for 2-3 hits. Become a PARRY GOD of Norse Mythology. Also, since dungeons have tight corridors, there are plenty chokepoints where you can parry and hit multiple enemies at once. And if you run out of stamina, track back to a door and close it for some resting time. There you go.

The hammer is the best weapon for dungeons. The AoE goes through walls and doors, allowing you to cheese all encounters 😂

Hi Tag, In Stardew Valley, if you put a Sea Urchin into a fish tank, you can then put a hat onto the sea urchin. You can also put a hat on Rarecrow 3 ^_^

Skeletons are weak against blunt. No fucking duh. The game takes that into account. Try using pierce on skeles and it does next to nothing as they are pretty much immune to piercing damage. All enemies have their positives ans negatives.

all the two-handed weapons do. right now it just looks like it eats a lot of stam due to limited food options. I'm running Iron Atgeir right now and the reach + aoe swing more than makes up for the higher stamina output since one swing prevents you from being mobbed (especially in the swamp where theres draugr spawners everywhere) running two handed weapons just means you want access to a cooking pot to get better food

NO. This is not a 'need to get' weapon at all. I don't get the hype for this weapon, it's not that great. I found it better to use other weapons depending on the situation. Knife for high damage sneak attacks, club/axe for clearing mobs quickly, bow for keeping your distance (trolls, bosses, etc). That hammer is VERY slow attack, is only moderate damage compared for a club/axe combo attack you can get off in the same time, and massive stamina consumption. That hammer really is a piece of crap. Don't bother.

@@sebastiankrajewski4337 It's really not that good, even for skeletons which are vulnerable to bludgeon. A club is also bludgeon and higher DPS than the sledge. Even an axe is better. And both will use less Stamina and won't tie you into a longer attack animation. That's my point :) The sledge really isn't that great, even vs bludgeon vulnerable targets, even in dungeons...
