I mean, 10$ for something that you use everyday isn't that bad imo. Especially if you're also paying for streaming services. Just skip a Starbucks coffee or something and you almost got that 10$. First 6 months is also free. You can try it out, see if it truly makes a huge difference compared to the free version, and if not, cancel before 6 months are over.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. Love it! The only negatives for me have been that it doesn’t track floors climbed, and the resting heart rate is tracking about 10-15 beats higher than my Apple Watch.

One of the first fitness bands that actually look classy. The only thing that I don't understand design-wise are the visibly too thick bezels. Could you define which data is behind the paywall and what data is free?

Mostly, add-ons that help you better understand your body and train, but nothing detrimental. Here are the specifics, with Fitbit Premium you get: workouts, meditation sessions, recipes, challenges, advanced sleep tracking, daily readiness scores and wellness reports. You still get activity tracking, heart rate tracking and others, basic metrics and sleep/stress score without premium. But for the sleep/stress scores, you won't get the breakdown and details.

Its more like if you want to have access to a normal amount of data that would typically be provided by a smartwatch then its free but if you want access to an unwieldy amount of data and analysis then you pay.

I loved my smaller fit bit I had, it lasted over 2 year until I started using it on water a ton and it seems I took it into too deep of today and it's dead now. But it had very accurate data, and the sleek design felt really nice to me, I feel like the busier ones would be annoying

I had the fitbit charge 5 for over 2 years and I was great. Unfortunately I think I used it in water too much and ruined it. But it was great for fitness and through all the testing I did the numbers seemed very accurate

Got it yesterday and worn it for one workout. My initial complaints are that the steps are definitely over exaggerated and the calories burned are an estimate of total burned... Like just by being alive. I don't find that particularly useful. I guess I'm just going to have to assume that steps and calories are way under what they say.

The best thing it does is get you to constantly think about moving. I was only walking about 3000 steps a day. Now I walk 11000 a day. I don't even look at the calories it says it counts.

That paywall means a no for me fam. Still rocking my Vivoactive 3 from Garmin - still gives 4 days of battery with workouts and longer if I don't track them! Even with some nicer features, it'd take alot better than this for me to not stick with Garmin. Thanks for the quick review!

It's not accurate at all. Especially when running and walking. The calorie burn and heart rate are just stupid. The best thing about it is it's small size.

Paywall is not that huge for me since we get the most data we want daily (fitness tracking and basic sleep tracking) and it's much cheaper than other brands that way. Only if it had Spotify!!!!

Not onboard GPS though. And no Fitbit that I have tried with it (Versa 4 and Sense 2) could get or keep a GPS signal. I've recently got a Garmin Venu 3S, love it!!!

For me, Xiaomi does at least as good a job and, in some cases, better... all, for less than a THIRD of the price and longer battery life. Probably more watch faces, as well. As for paywalls, FB can 💋 my a$$. I guess the Google stuff is advantageous for some, but I use Samsung wallet, and don't need G maps on my watch. Actually, my Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has GPS, and a much bigger/better screen.

Fitbit charge 6 is heads and shoulders above xiaomi in terms of sensors accuracy, it is significantly more accurate hence why worth it. you should check quantified scientist channel reviews on both smartbands for a better insight.
