Bambo Nature diapers are easily available in the US on Amazon. I haven't purchased them yet, but they're the brand on my radar for clean and eco-friendly disposable diapers for when that time does come. Cloth diapering is still the top option we're looking at, but I'd like to have disposables for backup as well as outings/visits with grandparents.

Hi, I have actually used Beaming Baby from birth of my little one. Until she was size 3. The thing with Beaming Baby is, as all other brands they get more expensive and there is less nappies in a pack as the size goes up.Otherwise I love them, very good quality and again biodegradable and and good for baby’s skin. So after I swapped my size 2 into size 3, they exchange sizes for free with no delivery charge. Such a great company in general, very pleasant to deal with, I still use their clothe nappies, wipes and nappy sacks too. However from size 3 after my exchanged pack run out, I started looking for other biodegradable ones, which I could buy from the shop and which would be cheaper. After quite a lot of time spent on researching, I decided to go for Naty. I must say I love them. In my experience I don’t have any issues with the straps and they never come off. I have honestly no issues with the quality and they are very good overnight. My baby has no leaks even though she can be a really heavy wetter overnight. In terms of the price I pay £9.50 per pack of 40 in size 5, which breaks down to 23p per nappy. However, I normally buy them in offer, when they cost between £6.50 and £7.50 at Sainsbury’s. Keith&Kin are quite tempting to try, but I’m still researching the difference between their ingredients vs Naty or Beaming Baby. Keith&Kin are actually more expensive now, not sure what were the prices back in 2018, as my baby was born this year. So Kit&Kin cost £7.99 for a pack of 30 nappies, which breaks down to 26p per nappy. Talking about washable nappies, I find them a little bit tricky after all. I’ve use this part time with disposables. So now I realise I need to use two inserts to avoid leaks. What I really struggle with about washable nappies is the fitting. I want the nappy to be leakproof, but at the same time I don’t want it to be tight for my baby. And even when I check how it fits and it seems okay, later there is always some mark on my baby’s skin. Especially my baby has these two marks, which look like they just won’t go. So at the moment I stay away from cloth nappies for a while, because I want these nasty marks to go. There is nothing wrong with the nappy itself in my belief, that’s just how it is in my opinion with cloth nappies in general.

Thank you for this video, I'm going to attempt reusable wipes & nappies, but I'm probably going to buy a biodegradable pack of bamboo nature nappies for the newborn stage.

Ive tried them all except pingo too and i do like beaming baby, moltex and kit and kin. Naty are abit crap for over night, bambo dont last overnight either. Feel flimsy. Surprisingly nappy pants however bambo ive found better than naty. My little one doesnt fit beaming baby nappy pants to try - however the price!! Im currently ordering kit and kin nappy pants as im watching this to see if they are any good. Wish that they all did pants though!! Naty are not great nappy pants! I repeat NOT GREAT

Thanks for the wonderful video. I was wondering if you have ever met anyone who actually buried and see it's 100% degraded into the nature? I am looking for eco-friendly nappies for my baby and the earth. If I pay almost double for the biodegradable nappies than standard poly-nappies, I would like to know if it's really happening.

I haven't, and there's only about two eco-nappy companies that actually do say that that's possible, but even then none of them are 100%.

Thank you for the reviews! Does the online store you use Ethical superstore, does it ship to the US?
@alissaevelyn5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately they don't at this time, I think there are some funny legislations around sending nappies overseas... You should be able to get most of the brands in the US from another online store though.

Hi, I see that the Beaming Baby are pretty much on the same price range, on their website, not on the physical stores. Any impression on those? why I'm interested in it's their statement of 100% bio-degradable. Thank you!
@alissaevelyn5 жыл бұрын
Hiya, I haven't given them a thorough enough test I don't think. Where I used to live in Belgium they were always much more expensive, but you're right that the website itself doesn't make them much more expensive (45p a nappy instead of the 40p a nappy we currently pay). The reviews are great on them, so I'd definitely try them if I were you!
