I do understand it and I think it is obvious. He had a lot of subscribers who enjoyed his content. But they were dormant subscribers because he didn't post much. Now he is posting a lot and some of it is either questionable quality or not the type he used to post. So now the dormant subs don't want him to fill their subscription boxes. While I absolutely love the content of this channel, I don't like these daily videos. If he used this time to post once a week, it would be a different story. Ps. I also unsubbed with a heavy heart hoping the channel will go back to the edited videos but with more regular upload schedule.

Jake, my names also Jake! 49 years old. I’ll be 50 next month. I’ve been working for a custom garage cabinets and closets company in Iowa for the last 20 years. I’m the installation manager and have been for a long time. That being said I still do most of the work because my hired help is a revolving door and it’s hard to get good people trained. Anyhow….. The last 5 years have been a complete nightmare. I feel so stuck to the pay that I don’t feel like I can leave. But at the same time the stress and anxiety from it has caused me to develop a health issue called vasovagal syncope. I just started fainting out of the blue. Oddly enough it only happens when I’m at work or driving home from work. I’ve totaled 2 vehicles and lost my license all in the last 3 years. Long story shortish is last week I put in my 2 week notice. I’m not even sure what’s next. But I sure would like some tips on your investments. And I also have 2 sheds full of motorcycles that need work….. hmmmmm? 0:30

A video a day is too much and unsustainable. 1 or 2 higher quality videos a week would be the sweet spot. Also, I find it hard to believe that videos like this one (where they’re basically done in one take) take up most of your day. I enjoy watching you guys but I do feel like many of your recent videos were rushed and not well put together. Just some constructive criticism.

Oh lordy. I live in the bottom right. Like the bottom of the bottom, and only about 3/4 to the right. Daily videos are fine, or not. You're the one with the camera, I'll watch anyway. I think your best videos over the years have been the perfect balance of useful mechanical knowledge for fixing something and life lessons thrown in while you're doing it. Lately, the videos have leaned more on the life lessons and cutting out the actual fixing things. Us Fellers (and fellerettes) aren't able to handle the truth (and life lessons) without being distracted by some tinkering and problem solving. If you're able to go back to striking that balance, your channel will grow. I agree with many others that less videos a week and focusing on the quality of the content will be the magic ticket. You'll leave us wanting more and excited to come back for your latest episode.

I’ve noticed you daily uploads, but I don’t have enough time in my week to catch up with all of them. I think the winning combo is a 10-15 minute long video once a week. I’ve found those to be my new favorite format, similar to classic KZbin.

Having a series creates a personal experiance for us that makes us more interested in what is going on and what is going to happen next.

because as soon as it becomes a business it stops being fun. I help my friends work on their bikes, and I'll always do it for free, mostly to teach them that it's not rocket science and that anyone can do it. But as soon as it becomes "hey, can you fix my bike", it stops being fun and just another chore to add on to your already ever-increasing schitlist..
