Dimitris death hurt me so much as I loved playing CoD WaW and to think the same dude that survived stalingrad and fought all the way into the reichstag just to be killed in a death that was so unforgiving also I dont know if ya caught on but during that mission it played the music of World at War which was awesome. it really makes you wonder what happened to the previous protagonists like Miller and Dimitri.

Dimitri's death hit me hard back in the day; after everything we went through as him in World at War, after the victorious ending, he dies in the most disrespectful way a war hero could...stabbed in the back by his own people. Typical soviet evil. It's extra messed up with how horrific the effects of the Nova-6 gas has on the human body; it's no better than the Nazi's atrocities in their concentration camps...all for a demonstration. And in front of Reznov, no less. RIP Dimitri Petrenko. :(

Viktor Reznov is by far one of the most iconic characters in the Call of Duty franchise. I'd say he's cooler than the boys of Task Force 141. His most memorable quote from him in my opinion would have to be: "The Flag maybe different, but the methods are the same. They will use you as they used me..."

Another secret for you. At the beginning of Clarkes mission, turn around, enter the small room to the left and you'll find a tape recorder. Take the tape out and continue through the level. After you jump across the building, in the weapons room behind the fridge, turn immediately left for the second tape recorder. Put the tape in there. If done correctly, a special weapon appears through the wall. Enjoy. 😎

Just to remind you, you played as Dimitri Petrenko from world at war and in black ops 1 sadly he died by his own men and generals, even Reznov Survived and made it out of there alive to blow the ship to preventing the Soviets and British getting the Bio chemical weapon Nova 6.

rip dimitri petrenko 1922 to 1945 really young i wish he didn't die like that since you think of all the things he went through from 1941 to 1945 i think to would have been awesome if he lived and they helped you to get to nikita. He was a awesome protagonist that mission i think truly shows how the top soviets didnt care for their soldiers.

I just remembered the first time I played Project Nova and saw Dmitri die, I was like 9 years old and I didn't know he was the Russian we played in World at War, I was just worried about Reznov, but when I realized that he was Dmitri I was in shock. This game came out when I was 10 years old. My friends and I loved playing it after school. I remember how after beating the campaign, me and the boys started randomly saying numbers out loud, pretending that we don't hear anyone, wandering the school repeating that Kravchenko, Dragovich and Steiner must die. The teachers didn't understand what was going on, and even called a psychologist to the school, lol.

While you're lying middle of the masacre, Reznov pretend to be a dead man and german soldiers was shooting any men that moves.. The Music on the 1st mission is a banger. And that 1st intelligence you collected stays collected, even if you die immediately after it. "Dragovich... Kravchenko... Steiner.... These 'Men'... Must die" gives me chills every time i hear it. And idk if you caught it, but Dimitri Petrenko is the Russian you played as in World at War... Also, since i don't know whether you have already finished Black Ops 1 and the Videos are waiting to be released, here is a bit of a Tip for Bkack ops 2, you can but don't have to read. It isn't spoilers, just a game tip. Explore around the map, there will be useful items that will help your experience, like Mortar shells, camouflage, and other stuff like that. Have fun playing!

Your gameplays and skills are improving gracefully, not much to say about tips but it's never a good idea to carry a shotgun or use a shotgun in a large area since the spread isn't going to hit anyone so it's best to carry a gun with range. Good job on the video and game, keep it up
