Halo CE biggest flaw is how repetitive the ending level designs are. That being said though, it is a game that released in 2001 so it was just due to technology restrictions of that time. It does though show its age now. Where this game excels is its story, music and characters.

I completely missed the game saying you got a grenade launcher until it said it again during the military type car part lol. For the love of God you can control Elena on the jet ski to shoot. Shotgun + Pistol combo is the best combo. Shotgun for up close and pistol for range. You won’t have much strength with the little infecty boys but you can always just bonk them with your gun.

To be fair the older Halos are pretty hard if you're completely unfamiliar with them. A useful tip- Bullet weapons do more damage to health, and energy weapons like the plasma rifle do more damage to their shields.

Only 2 more missions to go. This second half of Halo is so boring, repetitive and tedious, this specific mission is only interesting if you create chaos and leave the Flood fighting against the Covenant. P.S. That thumbnail in the video is a 10 out of 10.

Halo CE gets repetitive at the end, but Halo 2 doesn't have that issue as much. I hope you enjoy it more moving forward. Have a great day!

One thing you got to remember is that this is a 23 year old game, at time of release there was nothing like this, ended up influencing all shooters that came after it. However compared to later shooters it does show it age nowadays.

You’d be pleased to know that in Halo 2 and onwards (except for Reach and 3 ODST) u don’t have to worry about picking up health packs, you’ll see what I mean by that 😁😁😁

It’s also one of the harder halos As well, it’s mainly the old guard of Halo and super fans here btw and the views are telling. i really like hearing your thoughts and predictions as you go through the game. the next 2 games only get better and i think its best to just enjoy the story so if you need to turn the difficulty down to have a better time, this is tha game to do it!

Yeah sometimes things get frustrating in these types of games so a nice break is needed. I understand the frustration, though. I never played this but I would have to say some of the old PC FPS games I played had more interesting and varied environments/enemies and a lot of this seems the same. Still, it's a cool game and I'm really enjoying your playthrough.

Don't worry Halo 2 doesn't have long levels like Halo 1 but believe me Halo's 1 campaign map design gives the ultimate feeling of a warzone among all the Halo.

this is definitely one of the harder missions of the game and you did great 👍. The other games have basically no reptetetivenes with level design so itll be nice when you get to them.Awesome playthrough so far can't wait to see the ending!

Trouble with halo CE is it's more fun playing it co op where as currently your flying solo as marines are not there to help. But good news is halo 2 onwards is easier and has more of a story proper full on cut scenes halo ce has no cut scenes in the respect of actual movie cut scenes halo 2 story movie game cut scenes are beautiful graphics

Well done. You are getting better and will continue to get better. It's just how it is. As far as feeling a bit repetitive at some points I think the anniversary visual upgrade kinda fools - It's a really old game so they were limited in teh amount of geometry at the time. The size of the levels was pretty unseen at the time though. Halo2 and onwards probably won't feel like your playing in a perpetual state of deja vu. Stiill love HaloCE though.

After meeting that eyeball this game replayability is just quite meh imo, two betrayals is the longest backtracking mission in fps genre Man jonesy eating those rockets, ran outta breath at some point for just pure laughter😂 also laughed so hard when you said that this time you’d make it easy this play through and immediately you made it harder with the pistol😂 Btw im surprised you still remembered keyes jonesy, after the library and this mission everything you went through i thought you forgot about him already Yeah speedrun can be useful sometimes but in halo speedrunning lacks checkpoints so make sure to never die or you’d be pushed way back the beginning of the mission basically And i see that you like halo soundtracks so far, well halo 2 soundtracks are the best imo. Speaking of liking i see you like overkilling enemies with the rocket launcher😂 yeah, halo ce anniversary rocket launcher feels so satisfying when firing it
