A wonderful analysis, haven't heard anyone else offer a breakdown on the Niken's front suspension and their Garmin integration on the TFT. It would be nice to see this compared to the new GSX-S1000 GX

Only two types of riders: those who hate the Niken and those who have ridden it. ;) Great bike, but many of us would want a CP4 engine based version. Putting aero winglets between the two wheels for more downforce should be easy.

3 types....you forgot those that haven't ridden it but think it's fantastic 🙂

Downforce in the front with all this weight you have enough 😂😂

Very informative and two points I haven't heard other testers mention, the front end going light at speed and the limited tyre choices on the front

I hope they offer these in the US. A nice option for non-aggressive touring.

I agree, bikers should indeed be open minded on this incredible engineering feat from Yamaha. The looks do take some getting used-to but after reading and watching a dozen or more reviews I'm at peace with the looks and would indeed be a buyer. Sadly you can't get them here in Australia now, in Aug 2024, as I've made enquiries. A few used ones around but they're the first model and a quite a bit 'used'. Thanks for a great review!

Mine IS certainly used, 106438kms worth of use here in Victoria, It has just recently developed a weep from one of the fork tubes which I am hope to get sorted next week.

How come both the forks are on the same side of each wheel? Why not one heavy one since they move in tandem?
