I’m so happy that this series was posted. I grew up watching this show but was too young to understand just how well written this show was. Excellent comedy.

🤷🏻♀️ Sometimes ppl mention that the series seems funnier now than it was when we were kids & i say: _ABSOLUTELY!_ 🙋🏻♀️ lol we surely loved all the physical comedy & the silly fart💨 jokes as children 📺🧎🏻♀️🍿 but *NOW* we can also *know* why our _PARENTS_ were laughing so hard as we stared 😳 blankly at them … AHA!! 🙆🏻♀️ Ok, _NOW_ i get it! 🤦🏻♀️ Kinda like watching a great _NEW_ series, but _this_ is actually FUNNY! 🤣

Thank you for posting these classics. I grew up watching The Beverly Hillbillies. Granny reminds me of my great grandmother. She was a tiny woman and always wore an apron. Gosh I miss my childhood. Lol

I loved this show as a kid but it's even better as an adult! I can't put my finger on it but it's just so entertaining! It's hilarious, it's innocent and watching the episodes in order (I only got to wach them sporadically when I was a kid) there's even continuity! It's a whole new experience!

🙋🏼♀️ @14:52 Discussing “Marie” the upstairs girl. UNCLE JED: “Poor thing is so weak, her _knees_ keep buckling on her!” 🤦🏼♀️ lol Marie was curtsying! It’s the little jokes like that! 🙆🏼♀️ They always get me! 🤣 LOVE 💕 the writing!

In the 70s, Ebsen starred in a show called "Barnaby Jones" where he played a private investigator, usually very well-dressed. I remember my late aunt saying "I don't care how elegant they make him look, how nice of a suit they put on him, I still only see Jed Clampett!!" I knew exactly what she meant. Such an iconic show. Ebsen was an avid coin collector, and when I actively collected I had a catalog from the auction when he liquidated.

The best kind of sitcoms.... Complete lack of communication and misunderstanding mixed with a lot of assumption and attitude. Makes for a hilarious situation every time.

That formula began to get tired towards the end of the series. They ran out of situations for the fish out of water gag.

I think a lot of people enjoyed the Beverly hillbillies for multiple reasons.I enjoyed the whole show overall but I really liked Ellie Mae. 10 years later I am working at a grocery store as a box boy and she's in there shopping, dressed almost exactly the way she was in this particular episode. Her beautiful yellowish gold colored hair was so amazing... As was Donna Douglas when I spoke to her for one moment. Her southern accent was delightful.
