Or, just an idea. After "the button" Batman realises there are a lot of very powerful beings out there some of whom like Dr. Manhattan, can reshape the universe on a whim. So Batman starts working on plans to stop such beings even going so far as to prepare for something as crazy as a thousand Manhattans invading. Eventually the beyonders come and every one panicked but Batman is like "naw I got this" He takes his "bat teleporter" and shows up in front of the beyonders and takes a small device out of his utility belt which he uses to de power all the beyonders off panel. When asked by the justice league how he was able to survive meeting them, beat them, and teleport all Bruce says is "because I'm Bat man"

That's pretty much the plot of Marvel vs DC. Although instead of the one above all and the presence it's two brothers that represent the respective multiverses. It's a really cool story since characters like Batman and wolverine fuse into a singular character.

Considering that Darkseid has his avatars in every universe, his true self could summon a army of them to fight the Beyonders, plus the Anti-life Equation if someone was allowed to use it. There's also Manhattan and Elaine, I'd like to see what they'd do in this situation.

Theres also stuff like Gentry and Mandrakk who would probably try to enslave/eat the Beyonders. Anything major like that encroaching on the multiverse would probably alert the higher up 'monsters'.

Theyre well above Multiversal and have crazy plot manipulation and stuff that extends outside of 'story'. Like traveling from franchise to franchise through the reader or having "I rewrite the story to win" stuff.
