She fights fiercely without her dominant/strong arm, a brilliant strategist and tactician, thinks unconventionally, very matter of fact, empathetic and compassionate. These comics have truly given the best wonder woman i’ve ever seen. The art style is magnificent , the darker gritty color tone matches her new origins beautifully and I love the way they’ve redesigned she’s beautiful, but not supermodel gorgeous with a more Greek face. It’s the bravest redesign I’ve seen since the late 90s.

The concept of the "Tetracide" doesn't actually exist in Greek Mythology, it is an interesting creation and concept first shown and described in Absolute Wonder Woman It definitely _feels_ like an actual canonical Greek Mythology concept though! But yeah Kelly Thompson did point it in some interviews that the concept of "Tetracide" is a made-up concept they came up with for Absolute Wonder Woman - and it is an interesting one!

I feel the same way, which is why I absolutely love the stories that delve into the mythological side of her mythos and show her much more than just "female Superman" And the trend we've had for the oast decade and a half or so finally goes back to this approach Greg Ruckas and -Brian Azzarello's- *George Perez's** (confused the two for some reason, woop!) take on WW are the "definitive" version of WW to me I kinda also pike the idea that the trinity somewhat have particular domains - • Superman is cosmic (aliens) • Wonder Woman is mythological and magic • Batman is earth-based This isn't a hard rule but I love how it adds to how "distinct" they are

I was so worried when i heard about the absolute universe heroes and thought they will just be super dark. I am so glad I was wrong, each hero so far their core remains the same but their circumstances are so brutal. It is amazing to see them survive and thrive and I didn't expect to love each comic so much to the point I keep looking for when the next one comes out. I think this is one of the best things DC has done in awhile and i cannot wait to see the future. Absolute Wonder Woman is a bad ass!!!

I know it’ll never happen but I think using these Ultimate and Absolute universes would be the perfect way to refresh the cinematic universes when things get stale. Like, if Darkseid is the final boss of the DCU, they could really breathe new life into everything if they have him merge with the Spectre just before he dies allowing him to create his own universe in the movies after the new DCU runs its course. Makes it a seamless way to recast all the major characters and reboot everything without retelling the same origin stories. But really, I just love this version of Wonder Woman and would much rather see her on the big screen.

Since the ABSOLUTE versions are somewhat "changed/twisted" versions of characters with a hint of who they are classically, I wonder what lind of twist could be interesting and work for Constantine Perhaps a man of science that doesn't even "believe" in demons and other supernatural elements? Yet he still succeeds in whatever he does with a scientific approach ahahahah And people kinda hate him because he keeps NOT believing anything and trying to explain with a scientific approach and perhaps in the past this led to a major mistake or something (to keep a similar backstory) where science really failed and an innocent was severely punished by it and all

But Constantine would still be a cynical detective, con man known for his dead pan wit and constant smoking ahahaha But instead of using various mythical and magical elements, he'd be using alternative, non-mythical items (that he probably stole from various scientists and the like ahahaha) There could even be running gags with some of his allies that *_are_* magical users, and this twist on Constantine would be constantly annoyed they're not ''revealing how they do their tricks'' - even though they say it is magic, he doesn't believe any of it and thinks it is elaborate devices

What makes Absolute universe so appealing is the harder and desperate background of the universe show the readers the kindest heart, the greatest mind and strongest will of these heroes, they also have much more limited resources in their hands, so they would need to be more creative or be using much more desperate method to save the day. I for one hope they take their time with this universe's writing for such blessed opportunity to go wild with a fresh start.

It’s kinda obvious that when using her powers to her fullest extent her eyes become a kind of crimson red, when Trevor first appears her eyes return to blue which means he brought her back to her usual self.
