If you can ever make it happen, do it. Its an unforgettable experience. Just do your own research before you go. Not all the guides are amazing. I didn't want to miss anything major and did my own homework. Thought I'd have 5-10 pages of bullet points. Instead, I had 155 pages and wasn't finished. I could have given a better tour then the guide did, but he still knew stuff that I didn't so I appreciate him nonetheless.

Why would people believe in Jesus as a god if he himself has a god😅. Somebody that has a god is not worthy of worship. Christians rather believe what the churches saying instead of what Jesus himself said in the bible. When they asked him how to worship god according to the bible he said only worship god he never ever said in the bible worship the holy spirit, Jesus and the father. He even didn’t know the last hour , how can a god become ingnorent…..
@blusheep2 Жыл бұрын
I understand why you feel this way but it comes from a place of shallow understanding of the incarnation, what Jesus said about Himself, the things He did that only God could do, and who the OT said would come.
@SimonLierbeer Жыл бұрын
@@blusheep2 It comes from a place of understanding. I know that that hurts you. Unlike Christians that follow the church and don’t care what Jesus himself said i read what he himself says in the context. John 17:3, Christians want this verse out of the bible soooo much because it proves what they are doing now is totally against what Jesus said.
@blusheep2 Жыл бұрын
@@SimonLierbeer Nothing hurts me that you say. Nor do I want that verse out of the Bible. I don't know anyone in my church that does. In fact, in the past 30 years I've never heard anyone wish any verse was left out of the Bible. In the very first gospel written, the very first few verses teach the deity of Christ but you would have to look at it closely to know it. Later Jesus makes a bold claim to deity but you would have to understand the idioms of the ancient world. You obviously don't. You may think you have put enough energy into the scripture but you haven't. What is your background?
@SimonLierbeer Жыл бұрын
@@blusheep2 listen my brother, nowhere in the entire bible will you find a clear verse where Jesus specifically says: im God. Imagine in all those books, he also never says worship Jesus or the trinity. He always points to the father. The word trinity is not even in the bible. Jesus even says in john 20;17: ‘I ascend unto My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ You should reflect on this. Does a God has a God…
@blusheep2 Жыл бұрын
@@SimonLierbeer There are lots of names for doctrines that aren't used in the Bible. Are you really criticizing titles we give to Biblical teachings? Clear verse for who? Us or for the people Jesus was talking to? In Mark, Jesus is before the Sanhedrin. There the Sanhedrin ask Jesus if He is the Messiah. Jesus responds by saying, "I am, and you will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven." The response that the Sanhedrin is to accuse him of blaspheme and they begin to plot against Him. Why did they accuse Him of blaspheme? Have you ever asked yourself that question? The response begins with "I am." Now this is the tetragrammaton but it is also an answer to the question so lets just assume that it is. The second part is a quote from the Book of Daniel. In Daniel the "Son of Man" is YHWH. Finally, we have the phrase "coming on the clouds of heaven." This is still from the Daniel quote. In the ancient world, this phrase had significant meaning. We find phrases like, "coming on the clouds of heaven," "riding on the clouds," "above the clouds," in Ugarit, for Baal, in the Bible and in Egypt. The idiom was used to refer to the gods. God's lived on mountain tops like Mt. Hermon where man could not reach. They lived in lush gardens like the garden of Eden because in their minds, if gods existed then they were obviously in a place of plenty, and they were "above the clouds." Even today we still point up when referring to God or heaven while we point down when we are talking of Hell or death. These are shadows of these ancient idioms. So knowing what we know now, when Jesus claimed to be the Son of Man from Daniel, he was claiming to be God. This was perfectly clear to the Sanhedrin who immediately called Him a blasphemer and sought His death. Now go to Mark 1:1-2 or 3. This is believed to be the first Gospel written about Jesus. It is our oldest gospel source. It speaks about the messenger that comes to prepare the way for the Messiah. In the NT its describing John the Baptist. Now go to Malachai 3:1. Here we see a verse that parallels it, but read carefully who is speaking and what the speaker says. "Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me." (This is God speaking. Read the context if you disagree. The messenger will prepare the way of the Messiah.) "And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple" (Who comes?... THE LORD comes. How do we know it is YHWH?... because He returns to "His temple." So its the Lord that is going to send a messenger to prepare the way for The Lord, who it is that the Jews are looking for to come. There are a number of places in the OT where God speaks as a plurality of persons. In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah the Lord sends the Lord who calls down fire from the Lord in heaven. At the burning bush YHWH speaks through the burning bush and then speaks through the "angel of the Lord." One of these stories, I can't remember which, ends with the "spirit of the Lord" as a third. The incarnation is described in Philippians 2 and explains the reason why Christ, while on earth, speaks to the Father in the way he does. In the last book of the Bible, Jesus says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the Almighty." How could Jesus claim such titles if it didn't meant anything?
