Can you help me out with how this passage from isaiah may relate? I've always thought it was about the breath of life and man's mortality. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Isaiah 2:22 means we shouldn't put our trust in men. I think you're right about it being about men being mere mortals...who breath and die...which is why we should not put our trust in them...but in The Living, One True God alone.

How can you be describing the anger of God in hebrew, as "nostrils burn"? Do you know that the nostrils of dragons bring out fire, that is, it burns? This religion is somewhat clouded!

I actually felt like I did one time. It was quite unreal, but I swear I saw smoke come out of her nostrils when she expressed her disapproval/ anger... That's weird

I understand. Thank you. God's emotion or the emotion in general is that bodily feature, in relation. Usually not permanent but permanent to the individual. A sign of happiness is a smile but rarely is it a permanent bodily feature. This is why in God's word he speaks of keeping company. Some bodily features bring about certain spirits and in doing so can cause destruction/happiness for no apparent reason. The bottom line is "Judge lest ye not be judged" and remember that your ultimate goal as a Christian is to impress God with what he has given you. Not go about comparing yourself to others, which can cause a lot of anger, confusion and lies.

It is "judge not lest you be judged" meaning don't judge others or you may find yourself judged harshly. So yes, not comparing self to others. Nor do I think a Christian's goal is to impress God, but to follow the instructions (commandment is not the proper word) God gave to live by. God already knows what we are capable of. But using our gifts would most likely make God pleased. Especially if for the benefit of others.
