Please pray for me. That’s all I need. As a christian I still trust in Jesus and keep faith even though I’m constantly faced with hardships. I believe in God's promise trusting in his faithfulness, and relying on him. But at times it can be difficult. Especially as a single mother and having two children with autism.I’m overwhelmed. My husband passed away unexpectedly, I’m all alone. Lord give me strength as I struggle to support my children. But even as I struggle to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries for my kids. Wide is the mercy of God. If a spouse's righteous atones for an unbelieving spouse where there is no common blood then what prevents other relationships having common blood. As a nurse, many of my patients who were close to death - or had died and been resuscitated - talked about their experiences. All talked about the tunnel and the light and the feeling of peace. Many talked about seeing their body as we worked on them - describing in great detail everything we did. I had one patient - who died the next day - who told me, "I see angels at the foot of my bed. They're here to take me home tomorrow." He was so happy. On the other hand, I had one patient who cursed God and sadly died while still cursing Him. The look on her face right after she died was one of abject horror. Usually, a patient's face will relax upon death, and they look pretty normal. But not her. So, yes, I totally believe in these experiences. I've heard too many accounts over the years to just write them off.

True Patricia… my mom cursed God and right before she passed I had walked in her room and she was unable to speak but she had such a horror on her face and her eyes were opened very wide for what she saw! I don’t know what she saw but I know it scared her. I said a prayer for her right after she did pass. I wonder to this day where she is. ❤

My near death experience occurred in 2006 when I was 60 years old. It was a dream I will never forget. In the dream, I was in a familiar place on earth and not in heaven. I was met by an old friend and neighbor I had not seen for 40 years. She greeted me and she appeared in her early 20's. I felt young myself and not 60 years old. We walked together to an old church I used to attend. There I saw the congregation as I remembered them and among them were my parents who appeared to be in their 30's. They acknowledged me but they indicated I should go on with my friend that we would have plenty of time to talk later. My friend and I walked on to a beautiful, gently flowing river where we sat down and talked and talked. It was a beautiful, perfect time and I did not want to leave, but I awoke to a cold and empty bedroom. I knew it was a dream I would never forget, and thought hard about what it meant. Then, it came to me as the Bible says "You will be known as you are known." This was exactly what it meant. The old people knew as a young man and I knew them as they were but in the best of health and the best of spirits. A few months later, I had my heart stress test at the VA. During my test review with the cardiologist, he told me I had recently had a heart attack. He asked me if I had any pain or if I recalled when I had it. I told him no, but I did have an unforgettable dream. He told me that must have been my near death experience, and the very cold room probably helped in my heart attack not being fatal.

Sorry that isn’t quite the way that verse is written, however that is exactly how it is preached from most pulpits. Here is how the verse reads from my Bible: 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, AND willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Also read verse10 For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ-------we will all be judged and 2 Timothy 4:1 says that the Lord Jesus Christ will judge the quick and the dead at his appearing, and he hasn’t appeared for the second time yet. With this scripture where does it say we will be in heaven right after we die? We know when we are present in our body we are absent with the Lord because flesh and blood can not enter into the kingdom of God and we would rather be absent from this body and be present with the Lord.

@Brenda324 Take notice of what Jim Young shared with you as he is correct..another verse mis quoted and with inaccurate punctuation is Luke 23:43..the scenario of Yeshua ( Jesus ) speaking to the thief on the cross next to him.. try this instead of what we've all been told. Truly I say to you today,.....you shall be with me in paradise. The thief could Not have been with Messiah in paradise That day..Messiah did not go to paradise that day, he went to sheol to be with the dead and then was miraculously raised after 3 days .After that he walked the earth again and was seen by many for, I believe 40 days, before he was received into heaven at the right hand of His Father. What we've been told the verse says about the thief being with him in paradise on the day of crucifixion can not be true if the other verses are accurate. Things to think on.

In the late 80's I read "the Tibet book of the dead", it has many stories of seeing a bright light and much more when people had died and came back. So these experiences were told hundreds of years to their faith healers and physicians. That started me on a long journey seeding more about life after death. How you can't deny it. My father a heart attack in his late 60's, right in front of his cardiologist. First thing he said was why did you bring me back? He started by hovering above the exam table and went on with the story of death. How can you not believe? I went on and in my 50' s I started teaching it in a nursing school . I had a Death Experience -- I don't think it was an NDE. When I died, Jesus was right there. I went to heaven, right in front of God, but I was not allowed to see Him. He was hidden behind the mist and light. Only my family who were in Christ were there (except those who were alive on Earth). Lots of light, clouds, beings of light which I knew were angels. It did seem more real there than here. Peace and joy, seems to be the wrong words for it, those words seem too weak. All was Light and Life -- I was home -- with God. One of those times, I was apparently dead for hours and was declared dead three times. In fact, the doctor told me, "you're dead." Who does that? Well, he wasn't the only one. I told him "God sent me back." Also, it just came out of me, "Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" And that was not the only time this happened.

Near death simply means... you didn't stay on the other side. Had you stayed... then we here on earth would deem you dead. But because you came back... you died... but came back. Death of the body is when the spirit... which is what we are... leaves the body. And many people will talk about a very fine silver thread that they notice is attached to them and to the body. Once that thread is severed... that means you are not coming back to be inside your body again. And to the world... the body or you... had died and is "dead".

@@MrNirom1 One time, they found me dead and called the paramedics. They said I was dead, and I was pronounced Dead on Arrival. According to the doctor, I was then pronounced dead by a couple of doctors before they put my body on one of those carts that they put bodies on. They placed my body by the elevator to the morgue. Hours later, the county coroner examined me and pronounced me dead the third time. When God brought me back to life, I was gray, cold, and stiff. The doctor could not believe that I was alive, he told me that I was dead and explained to me that I was pronounced dead three times by qualified doctors (including the county coroner). They put me in a wheelchair and put me in front of the medical cabinet, and I got to watch my face and fingers turn from gray to blue and then to pink. As far as I know, I was dead from around 6:30pm to around 3:30am. They had sent off the tapes to the capital around midnight that said I was dead. Fortunately, there was an error in transmission and they had to resend. So they made the correction and resent it. Otherwise, I would have had to go to court to be declared alive -- that's what they told me. The nurses in the ER -- I never saw them, they were too frightened and ran off. I mean, how dead can you get? I don't think that was a Near-Death Experience.

Had you really been dead... they would have buried you and no one would have ever seen you again. That is what it means to be "dead". Yes... you died... but you did not become dead... because if you were dead... you would not be here. Does that make sense? It is simple... you are not DEAD. So what else can you call it but Near Death. You looked dead... you acted dead... they declared you dead... in all technical terms you were dead. But you did not remain dead. @@MrNirom1 To me, it is simple. I was dead, and God brought me back. I was not alive, but now I am. And this was not the only time. This particular time, I don't remember dying -- I do remember struggling, but then I was dead. I do not remember blackness, or nothingness. I do remember being put back into my body and air being forced into me. Before that time, I did have another similar experience that was like a NDE (the one I previously mentioned). It was like someone stabbed me in the heart, and I fell over dead. Jesus was right there. We went up to heaven, I was in a tunnel of my memories, Jesus was outside of it, escorting me to God. I went straight in front of God, but was prevented from seeing Him due to the mist and light. Also, my great-grandfather was there to greet me, and would not let me go further in. That's when I knew that I had died and that I would be sent back. My family who were in Christ were all there. On my left were those who had died, and on my right were those from my future. Jesus was there the entire time, and I saw the angels as beings of light. Everyone appeared as children, or rather, as perfect young adults. My great-grandfather for instance looked around 18, but he was so perfect that he looked younger. Now I know what children of God means. But there were four children holding onto my right arm. I believed, then and now, that they were holding onto my arm so that they could appear as they would on Earth, as little children. There was a boy, a blonde haired girl, a brown haired girl, and the last one was pink with red hair. I asked the boy who they were, and he said something like, "You don't know us [yet], but we know you." That's when I believe Jesus turned me around and sent me back. The boy resembled me and the others resembled my daughter, so I believed that they were my daughter's children who were yet to be born, yet to die. According to the doctor, I was currently dead. I told him that I was pretty spry for a dead guy. But then he told me that they ran a test 3 times on 3 machines and every time they got the same result -- that I could not be alive. There were a lot of doctors standing in front of me, and he claimed that all the doctors of the entire hospital were there. I told them that God brought me back. Just like the other time, out of my mouth came, Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

Then God will judge thous who will be restricted after the 1000 years and he will reign fire and brimstone from heaven consuming the whole Earth until the wicked are burned and they are ashes beneath our feet. I watched After Death and have read many personal stories from those who died and came back. If anyone doubts Life after Death, I feel very sad for them. On another note, and I realize I'm putting myself at the "mercy" of the Christian community in relaying a very personal story regarding my grandson who committed suicide when he was 20. Our family received many different kinds of outreach as they witnessed our extreme suffering. Many knew my grandson, a sweet, loving young man who was in deep pain. Most people were loving and kind. Still, others, thankfully only a few (and Christians) said that he would go to hell for taking his own life. Horrible words to hear especially because we were in the middle of a grief I can't describe. My daughter had a dream one night where her son came to her and with such an outpouring of love said to her, "Don't worry Mom. I'm okay. I'm in "school" right now and my purpose is to help others." Whether readers of this believe it or not, my family knows that they will some day see B again. They are Christians as I am and have been for over 70 years. Our God is God of Love and Mercy extending His healing hand of Grace to all who seek him. Before or After death. Thanks for letting me share my story. Your beautiful teachings are a most welcome addition to my life and to many others.

I believe the Bible is clear that Death is a sleep .....where we are on "pause" until the Resurrection. For that reason no one tells about what happened to them between the time of death and their resurrection in the Bible. If people who have accepted Jesus as Saviour go to heaven when they die why would God have to raise them at His second coming? 1Thessalonians 4:16, 17 "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. "

I never had this experience, but have heard of many cses. Some I kind of question. Some which sound very plausable because of the samilarities to one another. Somewhere along the line most of the western world started believing such a notion nonsense. From what I've witnessed and heard as long as it as a "matter-of-fact" feel about it I can believe it too with what we seen in the Bible. It ALMOST makes me want to have one to see for myself. The problem with that thought is I would be doing it to satisfy myself rather than having an initial act to glorify God. As always, that you for your gifted teachings.

I think NDE's complicate the issue in terms of actually knowing the truth about the other side. It certainly casts doubt on the Christian religion when non-Christians have heavenly experiences and some Christians come back and claim their religion lied to them. While most NDE's are described as heavenly, even by atheists, there are some hellish accounts as well, even by some Christians. While many NDE's start with a tunnel of light, some begin in total darkness but know everything is okay before they do finally begin their travels to heaven. Many say their thoughts create their reality in heaven with even some Christians claiming to get themselves from a hellish experience to a heavenly experience. Not everyone who dies comes back with a NDE. I think it is because of the many similarities people describe in their NDE's that strongly hints that there is some kind of afterlife. Some claim NDE's are hallucinations but that seems unlikely to me because most seem to be having the "same" or at least very similar experiences.

KZbin apparantly has made a disgusting habit of making it difficult to navigate, and inserting excessive numbers of commercials, sometimes 3 commercial within 10 minutes. They are using the same commercial repeating several times within a few minutes of video content. This appears to be an attempt to coerce viewers into a paid subscription with reduced number of commmercials. I know damn well these (people of illegitimate birth) are reading this. I suggest they view several episodes of "Silent Service" TV show They left in the spots where broadcasters can insert commercials and use it as a template. They must wonder why ad-blocking apps are becoming popular.

Is it possible to do a video explaining how a Christian is to view and accept the death of their spouse through suicide. The one thing I hold onto is all sin but one is forgivable by the Lord but he will never forgive blaspheming the Holy Ghost. Did I love her too much? I thanked him all the time for bringing her into my life and showing me what real joy, love and happiness is and guiding me to help her understand that she had to accept Jesus into her heart which she did a few months before her death. I'm a Christian and know the Lord walks with me I stated the truth on day 1 and never faltered. I won a major victory against evil but lost the only woman I have ever fallen in love with. I have also started the process in my country to bring accountability to the corrupt cop who caused this and I will not stop fighting for her name until there is justice for her. I was happy I was with the woman I would marry and spend the rest of my life with a good paying job I was good at and a good home. I lost everything my belongings, my home, my job, my health, my freedom but most importantly the woman I love. I have not given up and I never will. If the Lord wills it I will have Justice against a tyrant cop that destroyed our lives to advance his career and maybe one day I will be able to see her again it is my greatest hope. I miss her so much.

What would be very interesting if they did studies in India, Japan, Pakistan or another country. Take another 6-10 years to do an ultimate comparison. Problem is that people experience it through their individual filters. Some claim to see Jesus as a young, tall man with long hair & blue eyes. My daughter had a vision of Jesus in a dream of being a short young man with weathered skin, dark long hair and brown eyes…… The opposite. I am not dismissing vision and near death experiences but am cautious about it. I think that the what we read in the prophets and book of revelation is enough to describe how heaven looks like.

There is "man's dead" and then there is God's "sleep" from which no one returns until the Second Coming. The heart may have stopped, but God has not come to collect the breath of life...not yet. Don't let that be disheartening... The bible clearly tells us that after we die, there is no consciousness and that we are in a "sleep" state. Unaware of anything that goes on around us. Think about when you sleep. When you wake up, do you know whether you've been asleep for 5 minutes or 5 days? Not unless you look at a clock. You could sleep for 5 years and you wouldn't know it. That's how death is... there is no time... no clocks to watch. And at the resurrection, everyone will wake up and not know if they were dead for 2 seconds or 2000 years. To everyone who is resurrected, it'll seem almost instantaneous. Just like when you fall asleep and wake up. Your mind knows of no time in between.

THAT WAS JUST A DREAM I'm very skeptical of the whole near death experience. We all experience death when we sleep. Dreams fill most of our minds usually from the depths of our conscience taken from life experience or fantasy. Near death is like sleep and the visions come from the conscience that realizes the body is in some sort of distress. The vision can be peaceful or full of sufferings just as regular dreams can be. Most of the dreams we have don't become memory as most near death experiences relate to this. Therefore I believe near death experience is an other form of sleep and what brings about similar experienced visions is the same sleep of near death. There is no relative peak into the afterlife and to believe such is fantasy. How is it St Paul says it's of things not to be spoken of whereas St John speaks of everything except the thunders to speak about. This answers such experiences are different as near death experiences are different. I can't help but feel sad for the insomniac. Now such dreamlike states can be brought on by hallucinogenics and near death experience causes similar effects as hallucinogenics. I'm not taking stock in this movie as I believe it a bunch of fantasy.

When have you ever had a dream that was MORE real than life? Have you ever had a dream where you felt for a timeless period that you were unconditionally loved more than you ever felt on earth?? Have you ever traveled faster than you could even imagine in a dream? Have you ever had a dream where you saw your grand parents or great grand parents when they were 30 years old? Have you ever dreamed that you were ONE with the world? Have you ever woke up from a dream and had more knowledge of things than when you went to sleep?? I would say that NO... you have not. But the day you die...you will experience all of that. You will experience the download of information. You will see family that has died and they will be in their 30's. Just wait and see. In the mean time... keep you eyes and ears closed to anything referencing Near Death Experiences and you will then be more surprised when you find out it is real.

So if our souls can never be separated from our bodies which is what those who think we sleep until the resurrection believe, then we can never be absent from the body and that verse wouldn't make any sense. Also, why was Paul excited to die and be with the Lord if he knew he was going to be asleep in a grave. It just doesn't make sense. I look at it our bodies are asleep while our souls are in heaven. Like when we dream. Our bodies are asleep, but our minds are still working and dreaming and thinking.

I think this will be a very interesting movie to see, but we have to keep in mind that no one has come back from death in the Hebrew/Jewish/Christian worldview to tell us anything about what they actually saw in Heaven or in Hell. Stephen was still alive when he experienced his vision, and it was specific to JESUS, and his true death, not near death, was imminent. Whatever these people are experiencing is not from GOD. I have no doubt that they all experienced something, but like the devil did with JESUS in Matthew 4:3-10, they have only seen and heard what the devil wanted them to hear and see during their "near death" experiences. No doubt, there is life after life, but no one has crossed that barrier to come back and tell--keyword: tell--of anything beyond the barrier. I do believe that there are some people who have indeed died and come back to this life, but they have no memory of whatever happened to them before they were resuscitated. For those who have not, please read Luke 16:19-31--GOD has given us all that we need to either believe or not believe in him.

I find it interesting that in all the people who were raised from the dead in the Bible, there is not one reference to them experiencing anything...there is absence zero reference to anything and now in the current 50 years there is a proliferation of these experiences and the Christian is quick to jump on these and proclaim these experiences valid. In the Psalms and Ecclesiastes it is proclaimed that the dead know not anything.....there is no awareness....there is no correspondence to life. The dead await resurrection in the state of sleep. To those who die, in the blink of an eye, they are propelled into the visible, glorious 2nd coming of Christ.
