Meanwhile, Christians are the ones who take constant criticism and insults from others. By the way, the reason I commented is because I have seen some of your other comments before. One particular comment occurred when a Christian was engaging in a normal conversation with you and you just simply called them “mentally retard[ed]”. I’m sure that no Christian has said something like that to you before, so please try to be respectful of our beliefs in the same way that we are respectful of yours. I think part of it is that a billion years alone is hard for people to truly comprehend. A billion anything is hard to comprehend for most. Hell we still are made for small communities in an evolutionary sense. And because nothing is visibly changing for us as individuals, its hard to perceive that everything is still expanding. Its somewhat like ants trying to understand an apartment block being built.

@@tedbomba6631 I mean, it's not totally unfounded. The alien thing is but the universe before our universe part is a genuine theory. There's a few theories as to how it works as well. One is that the universe is constantly expanding and contracting. Another is that at some point, a big rip will happen which will be the big bang to another universe, like an impossibly small balloon being blown up until it bursts into another balloon which will then blow up until it bursts. Another theory is that the universe is inside a black hole of another universe. The truth is, we will almost certainly never know what came before the universe because we can only observe from inside our universe.

@mettiq9240
@mettiq9240 9 ай бұрын
@@DystopianRocker Well, the term Theist is pretty general so I'll focus on the general lies almost all theists tell. Primarily, I've seen quite a few theists say that Evolution, despite the overwhelming evidence and scientific consensus to the point where we can directly observe it, isn't true, simply because it doesn't fit into their personal narrative of creation. Some also reject the Big Bang, which, whilst having way less evidence then Evolution is still a well reviewed scientific concept. There are also Theists who lie to their kids about heaven, or hell, which is mentally damaging on the impressionable brains of these children who then may become scared of the idea of going to hell. Despite the fact, there is no evidence whatsoever of either of these places existing. And now for the golden egg of all, the lie that God definitively exists. Theists from every denomination like to portray the idea that their own personal God who they worship is the true one, and that all of the 2000 other gods worshipped throughout human history are false Gods. Depending on the denomination, some even say their Holy Book is the truth, despite the fact both their God, and the Validity of their Holy Book cannot be determined, and yet, they still believe, despite this lack of evidence, that their God and Holy Book are true. It's debatable whether this is a lie or not, however Gods such as Yahweh or Allah have enough evidence against the existence of them, Note: The Problem of Evil and the Problem of Omnipotence, that it's most likely that these Gods do not exist. And yet, they are treated as if they most definitely exist, with people even going out and trying to indoctrinate others door to door about their beliefs which they have no conclusive evidence for.

I hate hearing the Big Bang is some God replacement theory. It still doesn’t answer the question of where it all came from in the first place. And before you post a “and where did God come from” comment. God exists outside of space time as he created those things so to ask who made him or where he comes from isn’t a good argument as it puts God in terms of his creation in that you have to have time in order to have a “beginning”. And I realize I’m personifying God by applying the “he”. It. Whatever. Thing that made everything, is sentient, loves you and wants a relationship with you.

What if there is no beginning and no end? What if time and our universe is just a 4 dimensional version of a circle. The big bang is just the singularity point and everything will return to that singularity one day. Or what if there just is no before or why for the big bang. Its a very complex topic but the most advanced and smartest people on the planet dont ask what happened before the big bang or what happened that created the big bang because they know that this is the wrong question because time and space arent created they just exist

After reading quite a few threads in here, I decided to just put this in the main. I read a lot of comments saying that science changes every day so therefore it is wrong. My understanding is if you don't continue to learn and adjust your thinking to what you learn you will stagnate. This is what happened with pseudoscience and mainstream religion. They saw a thing, thought a thing, then never thought again. Science requires the willingness to say you believe something to be true and reserve the right to adjust what you believe when necessary due to new evidence. Science is willing to admit when it is wrong, pseudoscience and religion are not.

Every answer I've got was pseudo religious. Some people say that nothing is a neutral charge and therefore split into positive and negative charges. We don't even see neutrons doing that and we can study them. More commonly they give God like qualities to matter saying it is eternal and always existed. Sometimes they try and confuse people by giving themselves a head start like saying it was really cold and gases formed and condensed but we know that the state of matter and the creation of matter are two different things entirely. When pressed on where that or dark matter or whatever came from there's no good answer.

it wasnt nowhere, it was all compressed to a highly dense point. and there cannot be a before because thats when time itself started. so asking where did the matter come from doesnt have any meaning because time itself didnt exist before it. its the same as asking a religious person “who created god” because nearly every religion implies that God is independent, omnipotent and so on, and if a God is independent then he didnt need another entity to create him. this logic can be applied both ways to thiests and athiests, but the big bang has CMB as crucial evidence, whereas religions have books written on earth just a couple thousand years ago. i daresay the self-styled godmen of today whom we mock and meme on social media, wouldve been worshipped and revered had they preached more than 10 centuries ago, because people were way more gullible and unaware back then.

The scariest thing about the big bang theory is that it’s model predicts a constant expansion of space which leads to stars being stretched so far apart the skies will eventually be pitch black. It predicts a universe where all energy eventually dissipates evenly indefinitely, until the universe is a vast, cold, dark, and endless place.

@@MunoKalesus The Big Bang is NOT a religion. It is NOT based on Faith, nor is it worshiped like a deity. Saying the Big Bang is "stoopid" rejects all the combined efforts of humanity, all for your misinformed faith in a god. Science obviously cannot prove everything beyond a doubt, and it's more then happy to admit when it's wrong, or admit it doesn't yet have the capabilities to understand every single miniscule aspect of the nature of the Universe. You're saying that we drew our conclusions first, and then built machines to support these, when that fallacy exactly what you theists do, and the opposite of what Scientists do. You make your conclusion that god exists, and then you reject anything else that says otherwise, and use confirmation bias to assume your beliefs are accurate, when all scientific testing proves otherwise. That is the difference between Science and Religion. Science makes technologies and perform experiments through something I'm sure you haven't heard of known as the Scientific Method, and then we draw our conclusions from our observations and experiments. Number 3 everything is moving, we would have to calculate the movement of everything for the past 10 billion years to get close to what actually happened. The point is, it's all theoretical so take what these scientists say with a grain of salt.

The issue is you're thinking in a purely visual way. Like a camera literally taking a picture. When that's not the case. We measure wavelengths that are not visual and simply translate them to a visual spectrum. We see infrared, cosmic radiation, gravitational fields, atomic and quantum variations. These things are not able to be seen by us, but they can be detected. And using the cosmic background radiation and trajectory of expanding space and its effects on gravity, atoms, and particles, we can "turn back the clock" as he said. And honestly it's fairly simple to do because everything on a cosmic scale is so massive.
@chasgiv4

So early stars during the big bang formed by large amounts of hydrogen gas and other gasses. Due to gravity, over millions of years these gasses would get so so close that they would all kinda merge and create a solid. Because the universe at this time was super hot, and due to the gasses colliding because of their speed, the stars became super hot!! And another way stars become stars is when gas giants grow so large and have so much mass the amount of friction caused them to heat up to become red dwarfs!!!

@@zegnoxclan5176A very good opinion. The question that “Where did the matter for Big Bang come from? How did it happen if there was nothing before it” is the same as asking “Who created God”. It’s sometimes very tempting and logical to assume a superior creator, but it just feels so odd that he would send his “children” or appear in someones dreams on a random planet out of an unimaginable number of planets on the Earth. Writing instructions to us to spread his name, trying to preach of peace when his disciples wage war instead on his name, it’s very intriguing. I mean then again, if a God exists then he would be capable of everything, from being the most merciful and benevolent to being worse than anything evil conceivable. Unfortunately I think its going to be many many generations from now until we find a remote hint about how this Universe came to be
