That was amazing! Jupiter when he was young really reminds me of Earth before his redemption arc for some reason. I did hope that X actually had an actual name but him just always being just "X" is kinda funny lol. Perhaps at that time the orbits were not fully formed and Neptune was much closer. Neptune likely formed closer to the Sun and migrated outward due to gravitational interactions with other giant planets, particularly Jupiter and Saturn. So this may indeed confirm the theory of loneliness.

4:58 I get that the reason for him saying this is because the story is told from Astrodude's perspecive, but it would be SO great if in the episode "Planet X returns" we see maybe Jupiter or The Sun recognise him and call him by his name. If you've seen my previous comments on Solarballs videos, I have brought up possible names for the character such as Nibiru (the name some use to refer to Planet X) or Erebus (Roman god of darkness which fits with his character given how he's hidden and is what I call him). Anyway, point is, it would be a hell of a scene to see the fear in Jupiter's eyes upon seeing him and uttering the name "Erebus"

Unless it's a name recognized by scientists, it doesn't really work for them to be giving Planet X a name since that'd be like a teacher telling students to use a name they use for an object prior to that object receiving an official name, it just creates confusion, which isn't something you want for a channel built around being educational, the narrative is just there to make it happen in a fun way.

I need to leave a comment. That was one of the best episodes of solar balls for sure. Firstly, Sun being a young overprotective father because he saw so much destruction and death since he was born is so sad for me. After he said to small Jupiter "Stay in your orbit" I was hit with so many flashbacks of him saying that to planets I had to pause the video for few minutes. My poor, poor Sun is so traumatized and just wants planets to be safe. Secondly, Neptun and Uranus as kids were so sweet I can't with them. ALSO planets as teenagers were such a good decision, I loved it! And thirdly, teenage Jupiter reminds me so much of Ganymede it's crazy. I love that he is a bit of a rebel, I was hoping for that. Also his relationship with the Sun is everything for me.
