I feel you with the limited sleep, I am exactly the same. That darn menopause is a bummer. I am with you till the end from Seattle. Love this project. I think that thin paper is tissue paper, that is what it seems like anyway. You can also use a nail file or sandpaper to get around the edges instead of cutting it off, just a suggestion. Thanks again for this project and your banter, always need a good chuckle.

Hint from a draftsman: hold your ruler diagonally to the page, like 7.5 inches at the upper edge. Mark 2.5 and 5. Strike a line (or fold) through the marks from long edge to long edge, and cut. It's the Law of Similar Trianglels front Junior High that we've all forgotten about. Thank you for teaching me so very much that I didn't know. Cutting pockets as I type.

I have been dealing with the same issues with Art Glitter Glue, so for the majority of time, I’ve been using bookbinders glue and it works beautifully. Love these ideas, DJ. Hang in there with the menopause, for it does pass. I know, and I don’t miss it. I had a compound pharmacist make some kind of yam concoction and it worked great.

Love all your ideas. 😍 On the 3 pocket one, (1st one, I believe) if you don’t have a sewing machine, to create the pockets, do you put a thin line of glue down the 2 middle sections to create them? It was really tight w/ the sewing, so wasn’t sure if gluing it would make it even tighter, if the glue spreads out.🤷‍♀️ (Hope this made sense)

As always, I'm thoroughly enjoying this video! Question about the thin "dragonfly wing" paper, was it not tissue paper? 🤔 If not, I'm sure regular tissue paper would work. Ive grunged up some cardstock by gluing some tissue paper on it, WITH wrinkles! Then before all the glue dries, I sort of tore off the tissue paper. Then I used some ink over the top to highlight the texture. Kind of hard to explain, but I know you get me!!

I believe it is a sturdier tissue...like artists tissue but not quite as strong. Tissue would def work!
