More over, this has freaked me out this video of yours. Those hair products will last a looking time for you, so I do like the fact that you are looking at yourself again. And with smoky eye make up and the greater length on your top is when you have had a damp good idea this definitely looks like totally Easy and a really female one too. Sadly I haven't found your video before I got my pixie but I had very similar reasons to get the cut! It was mostly because I wanted to for a long time (it took a while to get over the "what are people gonna think about" phase haha) but also because I realized I attached my beauty to my hair too much. Mine's fine and wavy and wouldn't behave very well most days, which made me feel ugly or sad looking, so I wanted to break that up. And I feel so much more beautiful and feminine with a pixie, I think I'm never letting my hair grow out again 🥰

@@CharlotteKnight so update on my hair. I just got it cut yesterday. WARNING TO EVERYONE DO NOT GO TO A CONSERVATIVE HAIR SALON. Apparently they don't have a clue what a pixie cut looks like. My friends say I look like a k-pop star off of BTS.( Whatever that is) and my family called me boy and son. They are all trying to put feminine pins and stuff in my hair. Finally I said enough and I actually have embraced my hair and feel more confident and comfortable and feminine like this. It's not what I wanted it's like only 5inches on top and with side swoop weird hair on sides but I'm okay with it I actually will never go back to long hair again I love waking up and it's kind of already fixed. Any way it was a misunderstanding and I'm going to go to another salon in six weeks and show them your hair and see what they can do 😂. Btw you look beautiful and would look beautiful bald or anything your personality sings beauty and u could do anything! All my love and hugs !!! ( Ps. I LOVE your hair! Your pixie looks SO GOOD on you! I also love how you talked about hair and women's identity. I've had long hair most of my life and while it's nice in ways in others it's so much hassle, hard work, I spend hours brushing it. It gets tatty and frizzy so quickly now. I've always wanted short hair but I've always felt like I can't or shouldn't for some reason. People have told me I suit long hair etc. And I was never allowed to cut my own hair if I did my mum would freak out like I commited a crime against humanity. The truth is, my hair feels like a dead weight and I'm done with it. Even going short I've been looking at "socially acceptable" looks. Still long enough. But I've ALWAYS wanted a pixie cut. My mum cut my hair when I was in high school into a pixie and it looked terrible. So I've been scared of going back to that. But this time it's me calling the shots. And like you say - it's just hair! It'll grow back! Thank you this video has helped me make a decision!

Oh I felt the same way love. I think as women we all are attached to the hair. We all cry when we cut the long locks off even if the SHORT CUT TURNS OUT GREAT. I am a lesbian but super fem and when I went to an disconnected long pixi undercut and feared looking like a boyish lesbian. Not that others don't look good in a cut that is mkre butch it's not me. So I will tell you it empowered me, it was a shock but I felt so good with out that weight, showers are fast, stylish is faster. It got messed up the first go around. So I took matters into my own hands fixed the undercut (I am pro at that now) and grow out the Asymmetrical pixi bob I NEVER asked for. Now that I am grown out on the top I am going Sunday to a stylist who does these cuts. I feel so powerful with this cut, I throw my makeup on and I still feel feminine and not like a boy. I get my products on Amazon for half the price and better then studio prices. So I use that money for more make up products and jewelry, mostly earnings it adds more feminine touch and you can see it also. I have been told I look so much younger when I cut it off. I am glad you went through it. It's so many pros. My mom wasn't happy but I didn't care. It takes courage to be bold. I have never went this bold ever. Once you do it's hard to desire long hair again TBH. I could go on and on about it. This cut looks great on you. The hayes will hate bc they wish they could go into a salon and do what you just did. All attacks by people are a result of their insecurities thrown at you. So middle finger I give to them. 😉
