Well we need have history lessons from the south but to be hoenst i don't remember there being history chapters in the North East. So with that perspective and also the state of unimportance of that region, i believe that it's that pativular region that has been ignored the most. There is a book, The Hindu History by AK Mazumdar, published in 1917, currently it was republished by Rupa. Also, there are 8 volumes of History books by RC Majumdar .published by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. These kinds of books should be promoted. The historians of Aligarh, JNU, Delhi universities are ignorant and pro-Pakistanis.

Shah Jahan & his lovely son Aurangzeb never claimed they built Taj mahal, they just took it from it's previous owner Raja Jai singh of Jaipur & converted into their palace & later a tomb.. Elliot and Dowson, two English gentlemen undertook the formidable task of writing history of India from the attack on Sindh by Mohammed bin Kasim in the 8th century to the fall of Marathas in the 19th century. A period covering some 1200 years. But it was written, based on chronicles of Muslim rulers only. Elliot and Dowson’s work was published in 8 volumes during 1867 to 1877. Volume 7 deals with the reigns of Shahjahan and Aurangzeb. And yet in the entire volume we do not find the word ‘Taj Mahal.’ The authors should have said, “Though we have presented history of Shahjahan based on his official chronicle Badshahnama, we did not find any reference to Taj Mahal in it.” They did no such thing. And Historians have kept even this information from us away for the last 130 years. Google Taj Mahal -- Time to Tell the Truth, an analysis by Dr. V. S. Godbole that shows how the Taj Mahal was not built by ShahJahan but was the Palace of Raja Mansingh

Taj Mahal's property was owned by Raja Man Singh. He gifted it to Shah Jahan. And the Red Fort was built by Raja Anagpal Tomar.. Originally it was known as Laal Kot. There are ample evidences to support these findings. But if you simply laugh it away that means you've closed yourself from debates and research in history! A history which shows the Muslim rulers as generous and statesman-like and portrays the Hindu Kings as rash, second class fools with nationalist sentiments cannot be the true history of India.

The gentleman who spoke about Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) is wrong. While the female genetic study revealed that there was no genetic discontinuity for 50000 years, the male genetic study revealed that there was a change 5000 years. This indeed proves aryan male invation theory. Secondly, it is proven that people who wrote vedas are not indigenous to India. Indus valley people had no reference to horse, used silver, largely peaceful, etc. Whereas vedic people extensively mentions horses, used copper, etc. More importantly no evidence of vedic culture before 5000 years. So aryan invasion is true and they are the proponents vedic ideologies. So the only question remains is where did the indus people go? Are indus people the current dravidians? Did they disperse throughout the sub continent concentrating on the south? These questions remains unanswered.
