My post was almost a year ago people, he had a fairly bad run in the middle of 2014 and displayed it by his lack of good sporstmanship[in comparison to what was displayed in this video.]

Hbox puts on extremely overdone faces to hide it to the public but he's actually fairly well known among the high level players for being a dick to anyone he sees as below him, and for the people at his level they all dislike him because they see all the fake overdone nonsense he does in the public eye for attention. They don't think he's a good representation of a top smash player because he makes it look like its all a performance rather than being a proffesional e-athlete and tbh I agree with them

Hungrybox is such a class act. I wasnt sure who my favorite player was before this video. Now im sure. If we want this to grow as an e-sport, as a community we are going to have to learn to be less salty and more importantly practice good sportsmanship, like hbox.

People don't like that he makes you play his game. He is really campy and it slows the game down and a lot of people don't appreciate it. I hate that he receives so much crap for that though because the way he plays is nowhere near as easy as he makes it look.

Good job both M2k and HBox. Winning both of doubles tournaments, making top 8 in project m singles, and coming 1/2 in melee singles. HBox has been on a tear in both singles and doubles. Great sportsmanship in the end in defeat by the hands of his weekend partner. And good stuff by M2k. Showing versatility and resilience. He played Marth, Sheik, Fox, and Peach seriously during melee. He showed that on this day, the person who knows his matchups and is versatile enough to play them all, will win.

in this context it's because it's a very mango-esque way to place the move. both were reads on movement & very characteristic about the way mango gets some of his kills on hbox specfically. ESPECIALLY those uairs, just fully calling out how he's gonna float down.

Oh my gosh I just love both of these players! I love M2K for who he is and what he does. Always follow his matches and always rooted for him vs Mango. And I've loved Hungrybox for his amazing sportsmanship and just realizing its only a game. I have mad respect for both of these players and I really had no idea who to root for. Great matches.

I rarely like watching hbox because of his style of play but I have to say the sportsmanship out of him is incredible.

i think a large part of it is that mango refuses to use puff in singles these days, but if he did decide to do so(his puff was looking real clean while practicing for EVO) i think it would still go either way because m2k seems to have learned how to fight puff based on his performance against hbox in these 2 sets.(granted hbox and mango have such contrasting puff styles that its kinda hard to tell)

so the issue is that mango is the only fox in the world who pulls off those uairs vs. hbox. I get that it might come off as Mango dickriding, but really we're giving a nod to the fact that Mango absolutely invented that style of punishment as Fox vs. Puff. It's akin to the Ken combo, Scarjumping, ROM infinites (in Marvel), etc. The innovator gets credit.

From my understanding Mew2king _and_ hbox are emotional players. That can be very beneficial for them but it also makes them unstable. In this case of big house 3 Mew2king is much more stable whereas hbox is dependent on his beats now, hoping for a miracle like what happened in losers finals against PPMD (not saying he didn't earn it).

honestly m2k vs mango has become one of the most even MUs among the top 5...you never know who's going to win going into their sets these days. Mango won their last meeting (losers side of bracket) with fox at Zenith, after losing to m2k in winners with falco. Mango lost a set a Socal EVO qualifier event called Vindication but lost a set in GFs to m2k marth vs falco then beat m2k in set 2mango came out of winners after beating m2k in WFs).And of course m2k beat mango in winners&losers @ Apex2013
