Dr Faust, thank you for doing this project. I’ve been a viewer of your channel for years now and I’m familiar with your techniques (I employ many of them in my own painting). It’s nice to see them on this larger scale however so they are very pronounced (darker glazes over lighter undertones for example). Keep up the awesome work…I’m a student and a fan of your work!

Wow! Composition and colour selection is outstanding here!! Did you 3D printed this yourself? I see a few of these on Etsy but they are all PLA and I fear that would not look as good as yours…

Yes. I wouldn't trust Etsy prints. Most all are done for speed and most profit.

Love your videos. Can I ask how is mixing a glaze different from say mixing a wash? Is it just paint consistency or is there some sort of glaze medium?

Glazes are thinner than washes. Also washes tend to be more for just the recesses while a glaze is a more even coat.
