John Beaudin has been in major market radio (Edmonton, Vancouver & Calgary) for 38 years and a music journalist since 1989. He graduated from Broadcasting school as a newsman so he would have the skills to write about the artists that inspired him since he bought his first Elton John album as a teen. In the '80s Beaudin was the host of the syndicated radio show ‚”The Cross Canada Report‚” which had two versions (Rock and A/C). Beaudin was also asked to be a judge at the Juno Awards (Canada's answer to the Grammys) Twice. He has anchored every position in radio including morning and afternoon drive and was a Program and Music Director for The Breeze and California 103 in Calgary. He currently hosts the evening show at Move 103.5 (formerly QM-FM) in Vancouver and on iHeartRadio.

One of my greatest thrills was being able to meet John Lodge after 2 of his shows. John has been very kind to his fans and is a lovely, sweet gentleman. HIGHLY recommend John's solo shows!! His statement of sitting at the piano and writing "Isn't Life Strange" and how the words just came to him, makes me even more envious of his creative talents. It is amazing that these men were able to work creatively together for so long sharing ideas and assisting each other to write the words and music. They were more than Just Singers in a Rock n Roll Band.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the up close interview with John Lodge, I am 65, born in 56, and was listening to music at an early age, and the Moody Blues were and still are a big part of my listening to music, as I loved all their music. Sorry to hear of Edges passing, may he rest in peace. Great guys in a Great Band, Forever Moody Blues!

as a huge Moodies fan since 1968, i too, never had a real interest in music and then at 10 years old i heard Nights in White Satin and that changed my whole out look towards music. the group and as individuals, are truly first class!
