What India should do to tap power of Artificial Intelligence - Looking for areas where AI will be implemented e.g. Defence, Agriculture,Health, Financial services - Finding country specific data - trained workforce - fine-tuning algorithms and technology to local needs. 4. Initiatives - Niti Aayog report on AI - Hackathons conducted by India - setting up hubs of cyber physical systems 5. Misuse and challenges of AI - Biasedness in Data which are reflected in Algorithms and technology - Access to data and technology can amplify inequalities among countries and communities. - Ethical concerns of AI - Data collection for feeding AI and privacy concerns e.g. face recognition technology and mass surveillance - Data flow and data ownership, Data colonialism (data generated by developing companies yet not benefitting out of it) - Deep fake(fake videos or images using AI and Nueral networks) - AI and future of jobs 6. Need for a responsible AI(need for regulation) - To arrest misuse like deep fakes - Minimize Biasedness and arrest inequalities and Discrimination arising out of it - Ensuring equitable benefits to all 7. Set of ethical principles (by Google and others) must be deliberated and upheld. 8. Regulation must be continuos and adapt with evolution of technology.

AI is convergence of various tech and decision making syst can act on it by algorithm with deta. There are harm and societal benefits are raise by prominent tech personal such as sunder p of Google, E Musk of Tesla, Brad Smith of MS, etc. India has been vocal about AI but far away from regulations are concerned. *Opportunities :- Governance, Energy, Agri, Transport, Education, socio-economic strata, connectivity, etc *Challenges Biased used, SM manipulation, unethical practices, security, Anchors of wisdom could be suspected, Possibility of implifying inequality, etc *Regulations If mass surveillance and manifestation is concerned. It's very imperative for india to explore artificial intelligence. I think at this stage it's need for india to work on it only then we would be needing measures to regulate it. India has been blaming britishers for missing the oppurtunity of industrialization but this time if india fails to develop AI then this time we would not be able to vituperate any foreign power. Firstly work on the development of AI because european countries like slovenia are nailing it.
