The Allianz Premier 15s trophy has a new name on it... the Queens brought it home.
Gloucester-Hartpury & our Mo are champions of England. While she was busy crowd surfing in the changing rooms, Elma & Scaz hot footed it across the road to the pub garden of Teague's Bar for a live show for the ages! Katy Daley-McLean joined them to discuss the game & relive the day.
And then... just when all hope was lost, a wild Mo Hunt appeared, still in full kit (including her boots) alongside G-H's Maud Muir & Sam Monaghan, to celebrate & cause some chaos. The woman behind the Red Roses & Queensholm rebrands, Nicol McClelland also joins for a cider, and somehow Chardonnay does, too. Oh, and a post box. Don't ask, just listen.

Brilliant season, thank you! Mo's story arc this season better than anything made up on tv; the girl is human sunshine! Congrats Gloucester-H ! GREAT episode and season closer. Mo and the team winning was the perfect ending to the show season, and hopefully we see Scaz back out there next season switching it up. Elma's speech resonated, I was 22 *cough* for the 95 WC, in SA, and the change that game made to a country on a literal knife edge was unbelievable, Mandela in a bok jersey, the country united - sport is very powerful, even when sport is just being sport. Another great episode, I'm rewatching/listening to a lot of these while I look forward...anxiously as an England fan... to the Men's world cup. Actually watching this ep and seeing Elma dressed up as a postbox (complete with branding - well done team!) had me in hysterics. I missed the whole thing about the post though - why does Elma not like/like the postal system? THB, it's kind of a moot point now as it's unlikely that the answer will make me laugh as much as the costume, but I'm curious! Amazing as always! Massive (belated!) congrats to Mo and GH for the win, and top banter from Scaz.

KDM put it perfectly. It’s the enthusiasm, passion, fun and desire for women’s rugby to grow and grow. That’s what first drew me to the podcasts. As a teammate and club colleague of some amazing women players, at Yeovil Rugby Club, I can see the amazing work being accomplished at grassroots level. And to have the podcasts out there, showing girls and women how good rugby can be for them then the whole production team is to be massively applauded. And last, but not least, the team at the front Elma, Mo and the name on all the merch, Scaz, - you are the educators, the encouragers and the example setters (obviously excluding Mo’s chair stunt!). And a final thanks to Vodafone for supporting. 2023-2024 season podcasts can’t come soon enough (well, after you’ve all grabbed some deserved holidays of course!).

Great season finale. My favourite episode was probably Jodie also. Elma, Mo & Scaz are all entertaining, and able to laugh at themselves. Just getting to know KDM, who seems like a great girl too. Definitely hope to see more appearances from her in the future Having played women's rugby many years ago (not to the same standard!), a lot is relatable. Looking forward to the Pod's return.
