hey there! sorry to bug here. Since you mentinoed you are a dev for SVGator, i get a runtime error everytime I try to upload a png image. "Failed to execute 'insterAdjacentHTML' on 'Element': The provided markup is invalid XML and therefore it cannot be inserted into and XML document." Thought would be worth posting here just in case someone is running into this too.

Exporting directly as a png only allows low resolutions. I think 256x256 is the max.

@@nicholasbonelli4514 you should be able to export higher resolutions as well. i just exported a 1440p, it just needs any animation in it, which you can actually just "emulate" by adding an animation to any of the elements, with the same values on both keyframes. also i probably should have mentioned in the original post that exporting PNG format is a feature for paying customers. my bad on that one. however also as an alternative you can export in GIF format which is available for free users as well and it's also accepted by OBS afaik as an image mask and even more so, that can also be animated (but it might use a lot of RAM, depending on long the animation is and what the framerate is and such)

This is cool, the only bad thing about this, is that since it always covers the exact spot on the screen, if you are playing a game like warzone and you are searching for a match or in the lobby, its just gonna show that blank space from where the UI was supposed to be and it looks really weird imo. Unless i made a specific "in game" scene with the UI which i might actually do.

Alternatively, what I do, Is do a source clone and use Advanced Mask plugin to cut the area. Is not as clean as drawing a cookie cutter mask but it gets the job done quickly.

@@FriendlyLoserFN Hey I just reinstalled it and it's pretty easy. you'll need a couple of things An addon that mirrors or clones sources the advanced mask plugin. What you'll wanna do is Have your normal gameplay and then make a source clone/mirror of that gameplay. Then on that mirrored source, add the Advanced Mask plugin to crop the area you want to crop and move around. The plugin has rounded corners and feathering integrated so you can do some nice stuff. I just uploaded a short video with a healthbar so you can check out how it looks. Hope it helps!

I can only say, you are a true G! It took me a while to figure out but I managed to get a map and gun load out in black ops. I am learning so much from your channel! Question, can you provide the link to your video on how to do the circle webcam? Also, how do you create a circle line around a circled map for example. Keep up the good work! update: unfortunately, I tried to add additional elements so I created a new screenshot, followed all the steps but for some reason, it cuts out the wrong elements in the screenshots and I am not able to fix it :-(

Thanks for the videos! I am not very technologically savvy. I just tried out using the vertical format for streaming through OBS but my streamlabs alerts would not work for the vertical stream. If you're saving the mask to PNG anyway, you don't need to use vector creation software to create it. You can also make masks with Photoshop or, if looking for a free alternative, Krita or Photopea

Any idea why when i stream vertically to KZbin using OBS, the resolution is different depending on what device I use? For example if i watch back my vertical stream on the xbox KZbin app its always 360p or 480p, but that same exact stream is 1080p 60 on the ps5, TV, or phone KZbin app. My older roku device also plays them in a low resolution, but the KZbin app on the roku tv is at 1080. I don't understand why. I've seen other people's streams be a higher resolution on the xbox KZbin app so I don't get what in doing wrong.

Had this idea a while ago, but sea of Thieves fades out parts of the UI when your health is full and weapons stowed. So it ends up looking pretty fugly adding a drop shadow or some filters probably would have fixed it a bit though.

You definitely want source clone. I tried doing the masking and just duplicating the source makes the mask layer stick on my original pc stream. So yeah.
