The annexation of the West Philippines Sea by the powerful neighbor is a clear sign of it's influence in ASEAN. The Philippines must draft the citizenry into a civilian militia like the WWII Guerrillas of old. Their "deputization" is very very important to keep Philippines "battle ready" as the powerful neighbor may use "weapons of mass migration" to destabilize national economies or political systems that adhere to a Freedom Democracy like some Western Nations here and there. The skill to make bullets for guns and steel weapons that cut should be elective subjects in RP.
