@@BhushanAvasare Sanju should have been there for Pant but definitely not Karun Nair who hasn't played International Cricket for 7 years. Cannot put in squad of ICC Tournament just based on 1 Vijay Hazare Trophy performance. In this Vijay Hazare Trophy more than 40+ batters averaged 50+ which shows many batters have scored runs not just Karun Nair

Vijay hazare rules comes for sanju's non-participation & Age factor comes for Karun's vijay hazare participation. What a contra? Then what is the purpose of having and compelling players to participate in domestic cricket? Is Karun aged than Rohit, Virat and Jadeja??? When did last Gill & Rohit, Shreyas & Virat scored century? Selections are done on the basis of popularity and past glory. Poor fellows are Karun, sanju, Tilak, Sai Sudarshan and varun chakravarti - because they don't have super star status.
