There are NO BIG 3 in jazz piano. Each great player is unique in their own right. Once you start studying them you realize that there are few "lineages" in jazz piano like there are for say trumpeters, for example. These are three of the MOST UNIQUE piano players; I wouldn't recommend young players trying to closely emulate any of these jazz pianists. Herbie has a unique Dorian focused approach up and down the keyboard with long lines. McCoy is great for pentatonics and modal, but his style has its limitations. Oscar is a cyber-hybrid that cannot be duplicated again here on earth. He's more classical than jazz in his training and he learned jazz in Canada and created his own incredibly precise style. He's a true virtuoso, but too much Bravura in his playing for me. Most influential to me are: Red Garland, Bill Evans, Horace Silver, Hank Jones, Tom Jobim, & Vince Guaraldi. Super technical is not the future of jazz. And keep in the mind that the greatest selling jazz album EVER was recorded by Vince Guaraldi. Hank Jones is wildly under-rated. I recommend borrowing from lots of different players and creating your own style instead of trying to emulate one-of-a-kind virtuosos whose style is dated and/or overly technical.

Change the title? That can increase video placement, if done well.
