I thought I would want to jump right into the process, but you sure are right about this introduction. As for the why? Because you want to and you can. Isn't that the best reason? Having practical and logical reasons is even better. No more sharing resources with the house. You had said something about using the same vacuum system being a problem at times, guessing that is why emptying the canister wasn't included in later videos, so as to not include household contents with detail contents. Reclaim asphalt is a less expensive and more ecological option and offers better drainage (I looked it up after the build video) so makes sense. Where you and your family are in your life this new homestead with the studio separated will be great for everyone.

My biggest question: How did your brother feel about all of this? Sure, I think he'd understand needing a new space for the studio but if he is such a couch potato, was he in it for the acreage and new home? Or does he have a separate place now? I'd really love to know Mike's thoughts as well. It is so amazing to see you come from knowing nothing about KZbin, beyond a normal viewer, and being a good car detailer to being one of the best in the business. I've been watching you since the beginning and it has taught me so much about detailing and vehicles than I ever thought possible. It's really great that you were able to show us the condensed version of the studio build. I don't think you give yourself enough credit for all the work you did there. SO much planning of the electronics and all those lights and speakers you installed. Climbing on rafters to run wires. WOW. I wasn't sure if you would have sold the old place, but I guess that does make sense. You are WAY to busy to be a landlord to tenants. Have you emptied the larger drain pits in the new studio yet? I bet it took a while to fill those up. This was a great video and I am happy I got to see it. Thanks Mitch. 💜

There’s a guy in Vermont who has a beautiful yard/garden, with a center fenced seasonal 🪴 garden. When it’s winter ❄️, he covers it, adds water 💦, temperatures drop 🥶 and he has an ice 🧊 rink ⛸️🧤🧣. Thank you for the explanation for the crushed gravel driveway to the shop. I'd been wondering about it since it seems like that would immediately dirty a freshly detailed vehicle. How far away from the city are you, and does that distance limit the detail jobs you can get?

I can't imagine the distance is of any issue at all. (he's seeking out for vehicles that qualify to be detailed by him; they might be all over the place anyways.) yes, initially I also didn't understand the non-paved driveway. I had no idea about the size and entire situation at all, lol.

There is such thing as permeable concrete that might be something to look into for the driveway and entry into the shop because then when it rains, it doesn’t collect around the shop could actually go underground
