You need to get your car tuned now by UPREV. My NISMO 350Z with High Flow Cats, and MotorDyne Shockwave Exhaust, and AEM Dual Intakes, did 295 RWHP which was high for the HR engine in that year 2007. Get the tune and you will easily see around 20-30 to get all the mods work together nicely.

Just goes to show you don't always need 600$ art pipes to accomplish a simple task of freeing up airflow. His numbers are good for the money spent. I've seen new Z/Gs here do 320whp after installing CAI, TB, plenum, LTH, full exhaust, and uprev/ecutek tune. That dyno could also be a bit flattering.

Be cautious with breather mods on the '15+ Nismo's without a tune. I'd installed an FI CBE in mid August and Stillen Gen 3 Intakes almost a month later on mine, and went limp mode after going WOT. I was just a week away from tuning when it happened, and thought the intakes were the cause. While tuning with Sebastian (Specialty Z), he mentioned that it's common with Nismo's as they're tuned aggressively from the factory for the stock parts. When you increase airflow, the factory tuning does not compensate well. After my tune, all was perfect!

Art pipes produce the most power, hands down. They are test pipes though. If you don't want the smell from the exhaust don't do aam, go with fast intentions resonated hfc's. This kid obviously doesn't do any of his own work on his car.

AAM could have made the sensor placement angle a bit more parallel to the car's bottom. They seem to stick out quite a bit downwards.

Yeah they did. I think I scraped it on my driveway once. But I ended up putting 90 degree extender in to clear the CEL. And that got them out of the way

321 wheel horsepower. The stock 350hp is at the crank. They put down about 280 to the wheels, stock. So he's gained about 40 horsepower at the wheels from these bolt-ons and tuning. That's equivalent to about 45-50 horsepower gained at the crank. So his car is now making close to 400 horsepower at the crank.

Look on Amazon. There's a sweet exhaust on there for only $308 that looks and sounds just like an HKS exhaust. It's from Auto Dynasty.

I would look into the Manzo exhausts. I have a Manzo V2 exhaust for my G37 sedan and I'm very pleased with it. It's not too loud, just a lower register than stock. Quality of welds are good and fitment was just about perfect. I got it for around $350. With the Manzo Y pipe, I'm just over $500. There was also a noticeable increase in HP and torque.

Brett Voorhees It's louder with the HFC installed. It's still bearable, but 1800rpm the drone is a bit loud. So if I'm going 45mph, I leave it in 5th gear. Other than that, it sounds really good. Still need to fix the plastic trunk liner so it stops rattling. Cold starts are loud!

I recently bought and installed the AAM resonated short tails, sounded amazing, however RASPS, major rasp at 3-4k rpm. Gaskets we’re sealed and all bolts and hangers were checked professionally. Did you have a similar experience?

Depending on what brand you go with you will get A SES or CEL. While you don't have to get a tune right away your mpg will probably be off i averaged about 20 beforehand with my g37 7AT after test pipes it's about 17.9. The tune is just beneficial imo

Just make sure the parts youre upgrading comes with a CARB sticker for the intake and headers, have a 50 state legal highflow cat and a noise compliant exhaust and youll be fine with cali smog

From what I've seen almost all the HFC for the Z throw a CEL. So plan on tuning your car regardless. I did put in 90 degree 02 extensions when I sold this car tho. Dealer never had an issue with it

That rear is not coil overs. They are just coil springs the shocks are seperated. Coilover shocks means the coils surround the shock in the center.

Check engine light came on after 1000 miles actually. The 370Z is a picky car with cats. So plan on tuning the car if you do any sort of HFC or test pipes. I ended up trading this in for my GTR right when that happened. So I put in 90 degree 02 extensions and cleared the codes. Traded it in at a Nissan dealer and never heard anything from them about it

I bought the same High Flow Cats. The O2 Sensors are angled down, I've replaced my sensors twice now. Are you having the same problem? I see from the video that these are angled down also.

The only difference would be your lack of a dual midpipe. So they might be slightly different. Not sure if the different mid pipes have different diameters or resonators. But AAM does have a dual midpipe you could get

BC has two different coilovers for the Z. The kit I bought did not have the true 'coilover' for the rear, like it does for the front. But I wouldn't recommend going for the true by definition coilover in the rear. Then all the suspension weight is on 2 mounting points rather spread on 4 points.

Right when I hit 1k miles after this install the CEL came on. I put in the 90 degree 02 extensions for the bottom sensors and cleared the code. Ironically ended up sellout the next week for the GTR. But I never heard anything from the Nissan dealer about it. But I'd say try the 90 degree adapters. Or just plan on tuning the car

But I never heard anything from the dealer who bought it. Seems like the 370Z is picky on changing the cats. So most likely you'll need to tune the car afterwards.

Well after 1000 miles a CEL came on. I installed the 90 degree 02 extensions for the secondary sensors. But literally a few days later I traded the car for my GTR. Never heard anything from the dealer so I'd assume it worked. From what I've heard the Z is very icy on HFC. Half the time they work fine, the other half of the time a CEL pops up. So plan on tuning the car if you change the factory downpipes.

Hey! After 1000 mies with the HFC my CEL did come on. Seems like the 370Z is 50/50 on whether or not the CEL will come on after swapping cats. So I'd recommend tuning your car with them. AAM Competition has them on the website! These are just their High Flow Cats. And yeah it'll work fin with your cat back

A high flow cat will bring maybe 7-9 horsepower. You will not feel that when driving. He is justifying in his mind that it was money well spent, so he acts like he feels the power. Maybe after a dyno pull one may see the extra HP.
