He's another player who has amazing skills, but seems to resort to dirty tactics all too often. Frustrating because it's just not needed, he could let his abilities do the talking. He does seem to like attacking the head of other players, in attack and defence. Biggest grub though? Maybe in recent times, but historically there are a lot worse, Talking mainly on field and ignoring the BS off field, then you have to include John Hopoate. Billy Slater was brilliant, but often resorted to grub tactics as was Paul Gallen.. honestly there are heaps of grubs The biggest grub.. thug even, has to be Les Boyd

He's a bit of a grub, but hust about everything he does is front-on, in the face of his opponents. Rarely a cheap-shot. The game should have players like him. It's not like he's Les Boyd or anything like that. A third of his time out is likely due to loading. On loading, I think it's bullshit. Each incident should be punished on it's own merit.

High tackle at 3:22 on George Rose is just payback for Rosie's flying elbow on Aaron Heremaia in 2011 (one of the biggest grub moves I've ever seen). Biggest current grub in the game is Latrell Mitchell. He's a good player and he was invaluable to NSW this year but man what a shocker.

I'd definitely rate the biggest grub in the NRL. What you fail to mention is the number of times he was cited to appear before the judiciary and his highly paid legal council was able to have the charges downgraded and he avoided suspension, usually to most people's amazement as similar acts by other players almost always led to suspensions. I reckon you could easily add another 15 or 20 potential weeks suspension that he was able to avoid. His team mate Victor Radley is another thug that by the end of his career may challenge JWH for the biggest grub in the NRL. What I find is the enormous hypocrisy Trent Robinson shows in his unstinting defence of both JWH and Radley for their grub actions yet if any of his players cops a high shot he would have to be the greatest whinger in the NRL.

Not sure I'd have ever thought of him as the biggest grub, as the send offs and suspensions are not really grub behavior - a few yes, but he isn't nearly as grubby as some others. I'm in my late 60's as going back to the 60's or 70's, he'd be seen as a normal player.
