Crazy that’s not even all Thawne has done. He erased Barry’s childhood friend just so Barry felt lonely as a kid. Years after Barry died, Thawne impersonated him and tarnished his name, beating up on every single speedster alive at the time and causing Wally to give up the Flash mantle for a time. He caused Barry’s future kids, Don and Dawn, to become supervillains. He killed Iris, but not in a simple way. Thawne came to her, told her that he was going to kill her in a day, then wiped her memory so she wouldn’t warn Barry. A day later, Barry and Iris attend a superhero themed party, where she remembers the threat but Barry cant find Thawne among everyone in costume. Once Barry has his back turned, Thawne then takes Iris into the bathroom and vibrates his hand inside her brain.

Something "funny" I realized about Eobard killing Barry's mom is that I'm pretty sure it's basically an in universe retcon, because I have an old flash comic (Pre-Crisis/before Barry killed Thawn) were Barry went to go meet with BOTH of his LIVING parents, and because flashpoint basically reset everyone's memories Barry doesn't even remember that his mom originally lived to see him become the Flash. Also while it's been a while since I read Flash Rebirth,(I think that was the one with the retcon) I think I remember the indication when Thawn reveals what he did that Barry didn't even realize his mom was dead.

DC has only Batman and Superman. Villains; Joker Darkseid and Lex Luthor. You can say There are villains like "Reverse Flash and etc." but they ain't that famous yet. Teams; Justice League, Suicide Squad. Marvel has too many now and many are very famous. They have; Deadpool, Wolverine, Ironman, Captain America,Antman, Doctor Strange, Black Widow etc. Villains; Ultron, Thanos, Loki, Magneto, Doctor Doom,Knull, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and etc. Teams; Avengers, X-men, Guardians of The Galaxy, Fantastic Four, Marvel keeps increasing characters and many are getting famous and known. While DC keeps recycling characters alternating Batman and Superman. Newer famous villain is a Jokerized Batman, "Batman Who Laughs" another Batman variation. While Marvel has Knull an original character not a variant. Who the F is this Knull?? But damn hell he is already famous. Marvel is really really good at making brand new characters and making it famous. DC just keeps repeating what works. Probably make Superman Darkseid variant next to their comic book event.
