The wide variance from recruiting agencies is proof of how we are in uncharted territory figuring out ratings with new opportunities/barriers to filling rosters. Before the transfer portal it was unthinkable to evaluate & recruit at lower divisions/FSC level. Recruiting agencies / major colleges were geared toward evaluating high school talent/juco talent. Not to mention readily available talent outside of the power 4 conferences.. How about Will Reed & Henderson as impact players. Everyone wanted Reed out of HS but chose Princeton University. The guy is big & smart. Henderson at qb as well he's finally in a scheme where his talent will shine

I think by seasons end, we will have landed some really good players, a few might be elite, some good and a few busts. If this team can be 50% better on D (not a big ask) we will find ourselves with a chance to win every game on the schedule. The questions may arise on offense. Lots of talent at the skill but better be able to make a crease for the RB's and protect the QB.

I would like to propose a major argument against your "as a fan expectations change when you start winning" .... I will argue to the death (in a friendly way lol, im not shitposting here lol) that in all aspects of life, when you're doing going and 'winning' the LAST thing you EVER do is slow down or 'sit back and take it in' for a minute or whatever.... those are the times you go even harder. That's how you make those 10x increases. That's how you keep momentum in life. Trump even talks about the concept in his Levitt guy speech. Warren Buffett is talking exactly that with his whole "rule 1, don't lose money, rule 2 never forget rule number 1) ....... see people don't understand because they think "oh look how much winning ive done, better not lose it" ....... but that's improper risk management.... the reality is that particular position was able to be obtained and risk is off the table, the game becomes strategically accumulating as much inventory as humanly possible (since its risk free) because with the proper management the worst case is break even now and the best case is accumulating an even bigger position as its winning, not to mention all the liquidity providing inventory turnover in the meantime so even in the larger picture is break even the middle biz got risk off and turned some profit for virtually no risk. (to put in a nutshell that is, its a little more complex than that lmao) But yes, it's good to do good, but you gotta KEEP doing good.... and when you peak you gotta go even harder to make those quantum leaps in performance

Couz , I saw the other day rich rod caught up with Brodie mcworter the former 2026 4 star qb and is telling him don’t decomit now . He has a real coach coming in now that will let him let go for the old gold and blue . Don’t be surprised if we reel him back in . We sure could use him if nicco doesn’t work out , because more than likely he will leave if the Texas atm boy locks it up this spring going into fall . Then rich rod will want to plant a younger man in there to lead his team the next 3/4 years . Could it be Brodie or Scotty fox or the other kid ? I am getting anxious about football
