Your litterally talking about what they should have done better in this season not about the episode. You have it titled "problems with season 3". Then to make it make more sense you comment says I wanted to express how i feel about this season not this episode? Your title reads and video reads as so too. So its hard to pick up on your talking about an episode when everything is title as season. All your other content is title by episode. Yes i comment a lot on your vids b/c i really like them and i watch them a couple times each and i will let them play while i am not home to get you views. What i like is that you never talk down on the show, ever. You sound like you truly love and care about the show. Every other person doing what you do, litterally will cover the stuff but always complain throughout and nit pick the show rather than embrace the show like you do. Your the only creator that embraces the show and does not say what they do or did wrong till this vid, so dont take it the wrong way. Your comment section is full of great people that make theories and play along. Amazing comment section and that is rare on here. The comments on other similar channel but those that nit pick and say this and that should have been done this way turned those comment sections into just everyone complaining on those points. Whenever i comment on those vids, people come in and are insulting and on your channel i make the same comments but dont get replies like that kind and nice, i get likes and people expanding on the idea or i like to just point out little facts and stuff. If they are going to have a slower pace in many episodes it would work better if they released the entire season at once, waiting 7 days for each episode when it goes this slow is pretty pointless and will turn away the audiance imo. Don't get me wrong, I really like the series but there are obvious improvements to made. They can't go by the formula of each epsiode is building for the season finale, people will turn away before even getting there.

This whole season has been set up. The first episode was heart-wrenching with the death of a beloved character and then you had additional tension. Where they didn't know if they would have enough food. That had us all thinking that people are going to be in more dangerous situations. Struggling to find food or might have to delve into the depths. For some reason. They basically took away almost all of the tension to focus on one or two story lines and they keep giving these subplots that lead nowhere. I'm hoping these guys can fix the problems that they're facing so we can get a season 4 and 5. But if we get more like last week's episode I think this might end on the cliffhanger

There are so many problems, but a big one is that the writers unintentionally put focus on throwaway points, violating the Chekhov's Gun principle. Like in the hospital when the camera clearly focuses on the elevator floors changing from 12 to 13. Irrelevant. Or when Boyd said he was gonna catch one of the monsters. Irrelevant. Or when the tarot cards scene was played up big time, then interrupted. Irrelevant. It happens so often, and it's a betrayal of the viewer's trust every time. The writers don't do it intentionally, but it's a telltale sign of amateur writers when they will just write whatever and not care about what the audience will or won't latch onto.

For me the biggest problem with this season is the absurd number of filler storylines, their fragmentation into little pieces and the repetition of situations, all to stretch the poor content to fill a 10-ep season that should have been a 6-ep one. There are other issues like a lot of plot contrivances, forced situations, supposed dialogue off-screen and even a deus ex machina like the "magic" vegetable garden to solve the snow problem due to late filming because of the writers strike. No doubt this season is even worse than S2, no matter how much it improves in the last 3 episodes.

i love making theories, but this show is frustrating because we have crumbs. it¿s not even fun to try to guess anymore where this is going because we get so little with each episode, if anything at all. it honestly makes me think the writers themselves don't know the answers and are just buying time. we only get more and more questions. i have low hopes for the next episodes, I hope Im proven wrong. I loved season 1. Season 2 i had many issues with because we got new lore and mysteries but no anwsers at all so i hoped that season 3 would at least start anwsering some things, nothing so far but the last 2 episodes are called revelations so i think that episodes 9 and 10 will explain some things but if nothing is explained then i'm done.

The lack of answers about what Fromville is and what kind of entity may be responsible is a deliberate storyline, because it's being told from the perspectives of the people stuck there. They don't know how they got stuck there. All they know is that monsters of unknown origin emerge at night and the only way to keep safe is to stay in an enclosed space with a talisman on the wall. The people who generally get stuck there are down on their luck, depressed or struggling with trauma. The entity in control thrives on this and manipulates them with it. Most of them give up and accept their new circumstances and don't look for answers. I guess we'll see important information come to light about this place in the season finale, so we just need to be patient.

@@tholoanamakhabane221 From is the kind of storyline that could only go a maximum of maybe 50-60 episodes before it does get stretched out too much. Keeping the origins of the town, the monsters that come out at night and the entity responsible for everything a mystery keeps most people coming back and gives people opportunities to develop their own theories about what is going on. Revealing too much too soon gives the writers very little room to expand on the story and of course, erodes too much of the mystery. Of course dragging it out too much and not giving the viewers enough information about what's going on to keep them invested, does run the risk of people losing interest. It's a fine line they're walking and I think they're doing pretty well at it. This show is very much character driven and as I said, told from their perspective. It won't do the show any good if the viewers all know what's going on but the characters don't. Many of the people stuck in the township have been there a long time (Victor has been there 40 years). Some of them do want to know what's going on and get out of Fromville, but others have become resigned to their fate and accepting of their predicament. The last two episodes of season three are titled: Revelations Chapter 1 and 2. I would guess that we will get some big answers but they will leave it open to expand on for maybe one or two more seasons.

Some characters are immortal and were the towns original inhabitants. They made a deal with an entity to gain immortality and in exchange had to sacrifice their children. But they didn't know they had to live in fromville forever. They can die but reincarnate and are pulled back in along with some unlucky people. Tabitha and Jade are from the original town

Season 3: we know the town has a cycle, that certain people are “reincarnated” so to speak, we know way more puzzle pieces , and we know that it’s possible to escape if only for a few days. I think it’s our collective attention spans that is the problem. We don’t have the patience to let the story unfold, we all just want to piece it together on our own and be proved right quickly . Jade, victor, Julie, Ethan, and Elgin are the only characters who might give us actual substance. Boyd and Donna are losing their shit and floudering, Ellis is useless, Jim is an annoying bully, Fatima is going down the tubes, Tabitha is a pain in the ass, and all the rest are inconsequential, except Acosta has potential, especially if she gets together with Jade. They are very much alike in wanting to solve the puzzle. Oh, and Kenny is not much of anything either.

Boyd is understandable, he was gonna go crazy in terms of solving the mystery of the town, but the monsters made him watch them kill someone close to him, the town is making his daughter in law go through hell with his son, he was forced to leave Randell, whom now has a permanent reminder to boyd that he couldn't do shit to protect everyone. All of this leads back to boyd saying "you don't break me" . He'll probably go back to his military mindset(for revenge) after someone really really close dies in the upcoming episodes,

Can you imagine surviving sl@¥ing your wife, having a massive fight with your son about what you did to his mother in front of him, monsters attacking people each night, and having no idea where you are or how you got there? Then, find yourself the leader whose most significant fault is always wanting to do the right thing, even when impossible. They played with his emotions when they did not let him save everyone when Tabitha returned, and he had to leave Randall. Boyd is one strong person, but most people would have been shattered by only one incident in his story.

EXACTLY man, boyd being a former military man endured a lot of $hit that no normal person can handle so I don't really like listening to anyone talk shit about boyd. Out of everyone there he was the one willing to go out. He found the talismans, brought back animals,set rules ,gave people a choice on where to live, kept everyone safe as much he could. As far as boyds tremors, i feel as though the town is causing hallucinations based on the towns peoples fears. Boyd always feared being diagnosed with the condition that his father had. Spoiling the end of the season was a bad idea but I also feel it's almost deserved for a show like this. It's a " you want to keep leading us around in the same circles episode after episode season after seaason? Fine, we'll find some answers ourselves " kind of situation. I loved Seasons 1-2. Season 1 had that intro of you being introduced to fromville. Season 2 was continuing where Season 1 picked up with twists. This season the first 4 episodes where fantastic but the rest of the way so far hasn't had me hooked and to me I do see the frustration as to not getting answers like we were promised. But I do say that I think we need to be patient a little bit. Now idk what next week is gonna hold or the rest of the reason but I will say they do got to find a way to keep the viewers engaged. I love the show don't get me wrong but I do hope it changes down the line. I still want to know why Boyd hasn't caught a creature yet as he said few episodes ago

Episode 5 was needed despite slow pacing. But omg episode 6 and 7 are basically the same episode. My way to fix this is shorten some scenes and merge episode 6 and 7 and then the new episode 7 could be Boyd continuing the capturing a monster plan. Then episode 8 would be an intense episode of Boyd capturing the creature.

Its much bigger than this. Tabitha finally escapes via the lighthouse in s2 finale. Sendt right back, informs all the others right away and seven episodes later, not one single person has went back to the light house. Boyd managed to kill a monster, no further investigastion. Monsters change behaviour, no further investigastion. And i am sick of everyone not wanting to talk about stuff happening to them. In this fucked up place its not possible for the others to think you are mentally ill, so just share info with eachother. I swear to god we will never ever be satisfied with this show and i am done. They are dragging this out indefedently.

Episode 5 imo was actually pretty good but episode 6 and 7 are basically the same episode. My theory why it’s so slow is that they spent most of their budget on earlier episodes.

On a three arc story structure this show seems like stuck in an ever elaborate setup. Season 1 was perfect to set things up, season 2 extends the setup, but it's okay, more of the same. Then, Tabby went back to fromville, and huh... Okay... Where's Boyd's plan to capture the creature? Also abandoning the electricity and telephone line that goes nowhere. Hoo boy.

You guys assume they have every detail of the show mapped out. Guarantee they have just several minor mysteries that they feel make interesting stories as sub plots whenever they think of it. And probably only have answers to the MAIN questions planned out, if even that.... These are the people who made lost after all, and have admitted to plotting mystery seeds with no clue where they'll grow...

I can't see any of it making sense without some mystical magical elements being involved. The only way I see it actually working out is if they solidify the systems of those mystical elements so they sort of developed their own nature altogether. That way audiences will feel accustomed to the lack of a physical explanation A great example is how the Far Away trees work. I don't think anyone needs more details on the exact nature of those. I think if the show ends without further elaboration on that specific front nobody would mind to much as long as everything else paid off. We will see

I think FROM is one of the best shows. It is well-written, and the actors and staff members are incredible. I hope they show answers, and then the answers reveal more mystery and keep the horror going; it mirrors real life, where life and death are all around us even when we do not want to see them. I hope the ending is better than LOST’s and GOT's endings, but please keep the show’s ending bittersweet.

lol, Fans like you getting impatient. Season is almost no difference to other seasons. Characters have different arcs, seen some episodes and some not. EVERY character has had illnesses and Trauma caused to them, which quickly heals or not spoken of again, EVERY character. Little boy had a bloody log go through his leg, both Boyd and the little boys dad both had "broken or dislocated arms. All healed quickly, old lady came in with terminal cancer, not spoken of nor treated again.

Idk! I think they're milking this mystery cash cow. We should've gotten answers revealed throughout season 2 to set up for phase (season) 3, drama/mystery/action. There's no difference between Season 1 - Season 3 in terms of answers/progression. The little stuff they did give us, most smart individuals figured it out before the show made the "big reveal."

Tbh. This show is a great preview in to how to write characters and a strong 10 episode run. After that its actually pathetic. Season 3 is absolutly the wost so far. It has literally gotten so bad i can start a timer and my brother, his gf, and myself can wait exactly 3-5 min them cut to another chacacter. To much filler dialouge that goes no where. After 3 seasons we actully get a town meetin? BOYD AND DONNA ACTULLY EXCHANGE THOUGHTS AND INFO? omg this show is good yet terrible. Its so sad.

Started out with season 1 otherwise I would be waiting for the thriller of one or two main characters being responsible for determining when others fall prey to being victims. But...why does this all exist? Listened to earlier mole theories too much. Have to be bigger underground critters than the monsters. Lot of fun. Takes time to absorb and internalize. Hateful losing major characters. I KNOW they will return....those ratings numbers tell me that. Blackmail.

I just think they need to fix up this formula of, talking = plot progression, when it really doesn’t. Real plot progression was the Tabitha scene at the red rocks or a potential scene of Boyd planning to capture a monster.
