@@jaramiya4993 His legs aren’t squared at all when he jumps, he’s quickly, and doesn’t have a very rounded jump. Even Brandon said he’s a jumper 🤣

@@jaramiya4993 just because he has a pretty jump doesn’t mean he’s a hunter. Some horses cannot go slow to save their lives, and move awful, but have a gorgeous jump. Some horses hate the hunter ring.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I think Grey Finn is “mr. Right now”, rather than “mr. Right.” If that makes sense. I think he’s great for gabby right now to learn some new skills and have experience riding a different type of horse, and no doubt she’s doing great, but I think her next powerhouse of a horse is still out there! Not that my opinion matters, but that’s how I see it. 😊

Grey Finn has lots of scope and would make a nice jumper, or éventer.

Finn is very green and yes he has a gorgeous front end but his hind end does show any thing special and actually drags behind over jumps (doesn’t have much clearance over the rails) he isn’t the horse gabby needs for hunters. He is pretty and has a nice front end but that’s all.

I know you guys get a lot of this, but this is just my two cents - your horses NEED to wear leg support/protection, especially when jumping. Grey Finn and Gabby are looking great! He'd make a great jumper but not really the scopey jump of a hunter.

if gabby would push her heels down when she's adding leg snd not pulling her heel up to use leg if would make her eq look so much much better! i do equitation (not saying she does or needs too) but ive noticed people that can keep there heels down and there leg right behind the girth place so incredibly well over the people that draw their heel up to make their horse move forward. anyway this is not me hating on gabby i think she's a wonderful rider and has lots to learn just like the rest of us here! hope everyone has a great holiday!! :)

@@unicorndrool9406 so essentially when you watch Gabby post, her heels go down as she goes up, which gives me the impression she posts off her stirrups more than her core. If she uses the horses motion and her core it makes her more stable and she has a more independent seat and legs:) I hope that helped some!

Julia's face was priceless when gabby and Grey Finn jumped big. He really is stunning. I remember you saying you had a dream in one of your videos. Finn was Jumping at a show and you couldn't see who the rider was and after the show you realised it was Gabby riding him which you thought was unusual. Maybe your dream was meaning Grey Finn but you saw it as your Finn because he was the only Finn you knew. Maybe grey Finn has been part of your journey since then. He and gabby look fantastic together, a match made in heaven.

His trot is cute… his jump well. He goes around with his head straight up, jumps way to harsh on his front, struggles with his hind end, looks very stiff, has a heard time with his body through the corners. He is in no way a hunter. He is pretty but that’s about it
