Chihiro serves as a dillemma for Samura. He's one of the young people Samura wants to protect from "this hell" yet he's also an Enchanted Blade wielder, yet he also had nothing to do with the atrocities of the Seitei War. I wonder what Samura will decide to do with him.

Great chapter! It reminds me of how praised the Gotei 13 was like unahana later to find out she was a blood thirsty criminal. Can’t wait to see how the enchanted blade Wielders acted during the war. Because I’m getting the impression that they weren’t as holy as we thought they were.

Chihiro is about to be in such an emotional state, i don’t think by himself he can take dude on with his sword. I think Shiba might come in and we might see his magic. Or he leaves and links up with Yura to go to HQ

Don't forget that out of respect, Samura put down Tobimune and picked up a pure katana. He gave his student a fighting chance, killing him in equity rather than trying to one-shot him with his Spiritual Power. He trusted Uruha not to try and blitz and steal the sword for himself to try for any residual power to amp himself (like Kyora). I wonder, will he give Empty-Eyes/Magatsumi's Wielder the same honor, or would he try to sneak and kill him?

My problem with Samura's logic is that if he kills every sword bearer, still there will be new contravtors with the swords and create caos in the country. Unless he also destroys the blades, there will always be the possibility of bloodshed. Maybe I'm mising something here but thats what I think.

I hope he’s a long term character in this story. Cause, while amazing, the villains have been dealt with relatively quickly. Samura has become my favorite character with this plot twist. He’s the definition of an anti-villain and I’m loving every second

Sojo and Kyora were only means to an end. The actual villains we've seen so far have been around since chapter one. John Hishaku and Hatshaku. Samura is rather disappointing though, since he's working with the Hishaku. Samura's plan makes no sense, he should target the Blades, not the masters. Killing the masters can come after there's no way the Blades can be used by another. In fact, idk why the Blades weren't destroyed immediately after the war since they're such bad news.

No forget that Samura was the only other person who knew of Chihiro's existence. And he made a deal with the Hishaku before the attack on the Rokuhira safehouse. He would could have told them about Chihiro but it seems he didn't. So I think that care for Chihiro here means Samura's going to let him live, for now. There will probably be a "come to the darkside" kinda thing before something happens that causes Samura to leave, or Chihiro and Hakuri alive. We may see Chihiro get ripped apart, but alive and saved by Char

This is the first time I've been disappointed with the writing of Kagurabachi. It'd be way better if Samura was going rogue and on neither Kamunabi's nor Hishaku's sides. Because, the Hishaku are straight up villains, there's NO justifying working with them. They kill innocents without even owning a blade, so how tf is Samura going to "ensure" they don't kill anyone with one? Sojo killed anyone he pleased, the Hishaku set that up. Kyora had slaves, the Hishaku encouraged and sponsored one of his auctions. They're evil incarnate, is he forgetting the entire reason the Enchanted Swords were even made? This makes Samura look short-sighted (pun unintended) and ignorant, as well as stupid. Also, why did the Hishaku even attack him then, if they had an understanding? Did he explicitly tell them to? If not, he can still trust the side that tried to kill him without any notice? Samura should be a dark horse, not a turncoat.

Thing with HxH is the chapters are incredibly dense, So I'm caught between a rock and hard place. I want to talk about them on the channel, but with me adjusting to having Baby weeb I don't think I can give the time and respect those chapters and videos require, So when it comes to Hunter X Hunter, it'll be case by case, if I think I can, I will. but if not I'll just enjoy them in my own comfort but still talk about them on Shonen Sundays. (sorry for whole ass essay reply)
