I actually like Edwin Murray being a canon part of the game series. Since Sister Location, we've all been asking how Afton has a robotics company when Henry was the mechanic from Fredbear's. I like that Henry, while talented, was not an anomaly in the FNNAF universe. Other people, like Edwin Murrary, can do amazing things with robotics too. And with him being so messed up about the death of his wife, I could see Afton hiring him for Afton Robotics and telling him a little bit about his research into remnant and how it connects to life after death to convince him to make Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, with all of their questionable specifications.

I think the really annoying thing is, is that Scott keeps changing the names of characters when they are clearly meant to be alternate versions of the same person. Like we have Elizabeth in the games, but Elenor in the FF books, and both are meant to be Baby's real name. Also Abby in the movies is meant to me a stand-in for Elizabeth. Garret is the crying child stand-in in the movies, but that's most likely not his in game name. Charlie is probably not meant to be in game Henrys kid's name. We've heard Cassidy, Dave and Micheal for the name of the kid(s) in Golden Freddy. Scott reuses names ALL THE TIME, we have so many Jermey for petes sake, but he refuses to use the same name for characters that are obviously meant to be the same person, just in a different universe.

Afton learned through his experiments that every piece of a possessed animatronic contain the soul of the kid. Then used that as a way to stay alive. After all Scraptrap had a voiceline in UCN that implies he KNEW the new location was a LIE and planned ahead. Why else would he look so janked in the game world, despite we saw him escape the FNAF 3 fire in one piece? He took himself apart, hid those parts in various places, left a note for Fazbears to find when they planned that AR game to ensure he came back as always. Henry even stated all must burn.

Things I think. 1. Since Glitchtrap is now Supposedly gone Tiger-Rock will take the Mantle of the new Modern Mimic. 2. I think it’s possible that the Fnaf 6 Location was actually once a part of the 1979 Fallfest and I also think it was once Fredbear’s Family Diner at some point. 3. Seeing how the Tiger-Rock Plushie is so important and how in the story Edwin’s son David takes it everywhere he goes I would y be surprised if David’s soul was actually inside of the Tiger-Plush, or perhaps his agony is in it. 4. I personally think that Jackie herself isn’t the Mimic but rather the actual mimic is gonna take Jackie’s Animatronic Suit/Shell and use it to keep itself hidden, it may even be possible that the real Jackie is a nice Animatronic like Glamrock Freddy. 5. In the Talesbook it’s said that Fazbear Entertainment once had an entire line of Mimic Endoskeletons but they were all Decommissioned due to Mimicking humans in ways they weren’t suppose to, perhaps in Secret of the Mimic we will see more than just one Mimic like how in Ruin theirs The OG Mimic and Helpi. 6. Since the GIF shows the mimic in its Costume that we only see in the Scooper Ending could this possibly be implying that the Scooper Ending of Ruin is Canon. 7. I think the Mimic we see in Ruin is a different Mimic than the one from the Epilogues, I think the Mimic in Ruin is the OG Mimic Edwin made meanwhile I think the Epilgoue Mimic is one of the Endoskeletons that Fazbear Entertainment once made.

While I’m not entirely against the idea of Cassidy being Henry’s daughter in the games, I think it’s highly unlikely. I understand that the FNaF Encyclopedia isn’t 100% accurate, but it does state that Charlie is the Puppet. While this information should be taken lightly, it’s still a notable point. Another piece of context, albeit minor, is that both Charlie and Cassidy exist in the novel trilogy. Cassidy is an MCI victim, and Charlie is Henry’s daughter. This shows that they can coexist as separate entities. In the game timeline, Henry’s daughter is heavily implied to die earlier than the MCI victims. Evidence for this includes: Henry’s speech in FNaF 6. The "1983" code used to unlock the Puppet doll in Help Wanted 2. Charlie’s death date in the novels. General information that connected to other information released near the same tkme If Charlie’s death occurs in 1983 (as is heavily implied) while the MCI takes place in 1985, it creates a major conflict with the idea of Andrew being a sixth MCI victim (The 6th birthday hat in the ITP game and toy chica the highschool years). If Henry’s daughter is supposed to be Cassidy, which died in 1983, then who is this 6th child in 1985 if Andrew does nothing but fill in as the 5th victim? Additionally, the Security Logbook provides more context. While it’s unconfirmed who the two spirits in the logbook are, the imagery is notable. The gravestone marked “My Name” (presumed to be written by Cassidy) aligns with the unknown gravestones seen in the FNaF 6 ending. This leaves her identity open-ended. However, it’s important to note that The Fourth Closet (TFC) was released the same year as the logbook. Security Logbook: Released in practically right after fnaf 6 The Fourth Closet: Released in June 2018. Both featured the name Cassidy. The Security Logbook leaves the grave’s identity ambiguous, but The Fourth Closet explicitly describes Cassidy as an MCI victim. Furthermore, The Fourth Closet provides details about Charlie’s grave: “Two small, plain tombstones sat together just beside the fence, a telephone pole rising behind them like a sheltering tree. John took a step toward them, then stopped with the sudden feeling that he was being watched. He turned in a slow circle, and then he saw her. She was standing beneath a tree just a few yards away…” This description loosely ties to the gravestone on the hill in FNaF 6. While all the graves in that scene are near the tree, it makes sense that Charlie’s might be secluded from the others. If Cassidy were Henry’s daughter in the games, it would be strange for Scott to reveal her name and then release a piece of media (The Fourth Closet) afterward stating she was part of the MCI if she is supposed to be Henrys daughter in game. Yes, the novel trilogy and game timelines are different continuities, but it feels odd to reuse Cassidy’s name here. Why not use Jeremy, since all Cassidy does is replace his spot snice Michael Brooks is Golden Freddy in this timeline? Furthermore, the timeline of Cassidy’s revelation feels deliberate: 1. Cassidy’s name is revealed in the Security Logbook. 2. The Fourth Closet links Cassidy to the MCI. 3. Ultimate Custom Night (UCN) releases the next day, featuring the Golden Freddy ending. It seems intentional that in the span of three months, we discover Cassidy’s name, connect her to the MCI, and see Golden Freddy twitching in UCN’s ending. UCN and the Seventh Victim In UCN, Toy Chica’s “High School Years” suggests seven victims, with one kept offscreen. The next year, Into the Pit Book releases with later on in fazbear frights, Andrew, a unknown victim of aftons is brought into the spotlight. I believe Andrew might possess another Golden Freddy suit, as multiple suits exist in Fazbear Frights. Alternatively, he could represent Hyper Droid’s theory that Cassidy is set free in UCN, as depicted in the ending cutscene. Finally, regarding the graves in FNaF 6: the grave near the other four MCI victims is covered in grass, rather than having a faded name or being marked with a flower. I believe this isn’t just to obscure the victim’s identity-it symbolizes that the spirit hasn’t been put to rest. Cassidy hasn’t moved on yet. Im still entiretly open to the idea its just the way information is presented at what times that throws me off.

@duckman9327Ай бұрын
The solution that hyper droid subscribed to is one that I’ve believed for a while and I think it really is just the easiest solution. Cassidy is 100% golden freddy, and Andrew isn’t. Andrew starts UCN, Cassidy goes to it to try and kill Afton for good, OMC tells her that she shouldn’t keep fighting for her revenge and should instead rest with her friends, so Cassidy drowns herself in the happiest day lake and the final cutscene is that. Cassidy’s soul fading into the afterlife as Andrew continues to torture Afton into Stitchline. UCN ends with Cassidy resting because when we get to The Man In Room 1280, there’s no sign of her. Cassidy is gone, it’s just Andrew and Afton.

I think an easier way to explain the whole Gregory way the mimic was trapped for a long time and the epilogue’s saying it was shipped to the pizzaplex is that Gregory is wrong. Like Gregory can only assume that the Mimic was down there for a really long time, so he’s probably seen it but considering that the mimic IS very old he could have easily confused the mimic’s condition being correlated with being down there. He’s seen the mimic and mxes, he knows they look very old and they’re like 4 layers underground so it’s reasonable that he could’ve gotten it confused.

Haven’t seen the update yet, didn’t realize it was coming out so soon until I watched this. I forgot Edwin’s son’s name was David. This video reminding me filled me with dread. Spitballing and making notes as the video plays: * Recent alternative name for the second spirit in Golden Freddy: Dave, an alternative to David. * Mimic copies David. * Helpy, which seems to be a variant, behaves similarly to Fredbear “Golden Freddy” Plushie. * Could Helpy be linked to Fredbear Plush in a similar way Nightmarionne to Puppet? * David dies, goes missing, next to a road. Our second kid of a animatronic engineer and rival to Anton is ended next to a road. * One of the first suggestions of “main continuity Edwin” being a thing is an advert for his tech in the same game that confirmed Afton killed Henry’s daughter. I’m not sure if any of this, or how much, means anything. But, potentially Golden Freddy’s one spirit and Edwin’s son sharing a name opens a lot of settled things for reframing. If you are right about Cassidy being Henry’s daughter, that means Dave is gains some as the GF spirit name solution as Cassidy is now the Puppet.

I remember Game Theory was talking about the philosophy in clowning, mainly how there's three main roles/personas that three separate clowns take up - the Whiteface clown is the leader, the Auguste clown as the antithesis to the Whiteface clown, being the bumbler, and the Character clown who GT I believe mistook the purpose of. The Character clown fulfills any particular role a skit needs, basically being a living prop who takes direction. Now in GT's video, it was about the mimic and how the Character clown 'mimics' the Whiteface clown. Like I said, technically not correct but the mimic CAN fulfill the idea of a living prop with no real identity of its own. Plus it wears costumes, like how the Character clown wears diff costumes to fulfill its designated role. It's interesting cos we now have THREE confirmed inventors - Henry, William, and now Edwin. I'm wondering if the three is representing those archetypes took, and it fells it would be Henry = the Whiteface clown, William = the Auguste clown for being his antithesis, and then you have Edwin, who kind of fills in the gaps AND created the Mimic.

I'm still not convinced that the books are 100% canon and more that it's certain aspects happen in games. I say this because Into the Pit the game is not 1 to 1 with Into the Pit the book. This means we can't use Frights as direct evidence for solving that game as the events of Frights follow the book version of Into the Pit. The game version of those other Frights book events could be slightly altered in the games like Into the Pit was. I think the same applies here. There is also the problem of VIP contradicting the events of Storyteller with how the Mimic AI got into the Pizzaplex. There is no giant freaking tree. The Hippo Magnet contradicts and more. So I don't think the books will be 100% canon, but a version of those stories likely did happen in the game continuity. Or at the very least the Edwin stuff.

'I didn't take those calls, thankfully, but I heard the recordings and, well it wasn't pretty.'" I haven't watched the video yet but let me copy paste my thoughts from a previous comment here: Are Tales 100% in continuity with the games? Simple answer, no. Why? Because Tales is tied with Stitchline; Frights' MCI has 6 dead kids instead of 5. Can a character cross from the books to the games? Yes, and has been done before. Does that mean that everything that happens in Tales has to happen EXACTLY the same in the games, or at all? Also no. Again, Henry is a perfect example of this. Henry comes from the novel trilogy; is the Henry from the games like the one in the Novels? Absolutely not. He dies in the book, and in the games he's alive and does PizSim. Does including Henry in the games mean that everything in the novels happen in the games? Once again no. I don't know why people can't look at Frights/Tales the same way we look at the Novel trilogy. They serve to show us what CAN happen in the future games or give you an idea of what's currently happening; or just tell us how stuff works (E.g. remnant/agony) We have to remember that Scott doesn't like spoon feeding us accurate lore. That's what the books are; lore yes, but not a 100% accurate lore. Scott keeps the lore in the books vague/not 100% accurate so we can theorize how they connect to the games, and figure out the lore ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that the events that happen in Tales/Frights also happen in the games, but not exactly the same.
@OzTheBossАй бұрын
While good points counterargument is there are 6 dead kids (puppet, freddy, bonnie, chica, foxy, and fredbear) and that the ball pit was never accurate to start with because I doubt the agony monster was what did the killing and not stuffing of the bodies. It's a twisted retrospective of what did happen. Are some stories from frieghts 100% non logical no way in any hell fitting with the games? Oh yeah no debate, but stichline has the least amount of issues while not competing with tales for excess space and doesn't conflict the games story in major unexplainable ways (as far as I can recall, there was a LOT of weird stuff there). I'm not the biggest fan of this muself as I spent most of today racking my head about the consequences of it being in the same timeline, but it also makes sense they would want to condense it since we have silver eyes, movies, and atleast 1 games universe already to keep track of. What we have pulled from silver eyes was because it couldn't work in games universe and that was made clear unlike with frieghts or tales.

Considering Scott was working on Fazbear Frights(2019) right after UCN(2018) and Andrew is an important character to its overarching story, it's fairly obviously deliberate. It's not a case of Scott forgetting as he used a picture of his son for the image of TOYSHK, and there is no logical reason for him to have changed that within a year or so given it would not change the story. Furthermore, the description of Andrew's hair in The New Kid is meant to juxtapose the "New Kid" in that story as having blond hair. It would not be a case of a writer adding new info, as Scott proofreads and would not let that slip unless he was genuinely intending to change the *only* description of TOYSHK that we have. Again for no reason as it would hold no real change, thus being unnecessary, thus being more trouble than it'd be worth for the next installment in the story directly after TOYSHK's introduction.

Heres my 2 cents on the sealed rooms bit. Because of the accident that happened at circus baby's william ordered the rooms to be "sealed" but gave the contractors instructions to created the walls as a secret door. (Or did it himself idk) so when it comes time for the mci, there is a room perfecr for killing kids! No whitnesses, not on any floor plans, and a staff that denise all knowlege of the room. Doesn't even show up on camera's. So when it comes time to break them down again he uses "familiar tricks" and lures them into the back room where he jumps out and gets them...again. then when he dies, he becomes trapped in there, either because there's no way to open it, the suit can't access it, or folden freddy has disabled the opening mechanism trapping William in a prision of his own creation.

i'll give my own personal opinion on theses reveals: i still do not belive that the tales books are part of the game's timeline as we read them. yes, i will admit that parts from those books such as edwin and the mimic existing in game's timeline, but personaly, i fermely belive that it's something along the lines of how we treat the silver eyes trilogy: parts of what we see in tales are canon, but the events we see in tales are diffrent from what happens in the games timeline. so while yes: edwin is in the games contanuity now, and the mimic is tied to a white tiger, that, for me anyways, does not mean that tales, as we read them in the books, are canon. their events can have happened, yes, but i do not belive that they happened 1 to 1.
@zenvariety9383Ай бұрын
Haven't played the games or read the books, but I think Murray is Henry's surname. The books are in-universe products. Authors or the Mimic01 program fabricated stories to cover up Fazbear's past and address rumors. David Murray is a character based on David Afton, Charlie Emily Murray, and Sammy Murray. So it's likely that Henry created the Mimic to entertain his eldest son Sammy. Sammy almost dies due to a close call. Sammy is unharmed but the Mimic loses it's legs. An upset Henry Murray blames the Mimic for Sammy almost dying. However, Henry's agony transfers into the Mimic. Sometime later Henry Murray creates the Puppet to prevent his second child, Charlie from getting in danger like Sammy did. However, fate dictates that Charlie gets killed by William Afton who is driving a purple car. Not to mention that Dave Afton is known for conversing with the Psychic Friend Fredbear plush, but later gets killed due to accident. Now the Tales of the Pizzaplex story tells a fictional version of what almost happened to Sammy, but included aspects of Charlie's and Dave's deaths into the story itself.

i find it so odd how people treat the silver eyes trilogy and the other books. the only time we've had direct confirmation that a book series was not supposed to be used as info for the games was the trilogy. it is literally the only source you CANT use, yet people stick to that one like glue. the other books never had such a statement about them, and debatably have the opposite been said about them, yet they're also seen as "just alternate supporting evidence" its weird

We have to remember how Scott Cawthorn got started with this entire 'lore' thing. His pre-FNAF games, particularly The Desolate Hope and Chipper and Sons do have deep stories with easter eggs but they are self contained and isolated from other creatives' feedback. Now with an entire fictional universe to work with Scott is exposed to other peoples' takes on his story points that he really REALLY likes but which may not exactly fit with whatever original map he put together when he realized that fans wanted the earlier titles to become a coherent 'Freddyverse'.

Fun thought, While you were explaining how the Tiger rock plush is now in the games canon, it got me thinking, since the Mimic is a Virus, and is in the game's programming, what if it observed these tales about the pizza plex from other people, that the books indeed are canon in the GAMES, but not in the way that we really hoped, this really gets confusing and is a big stretch. But i do like the thought that the mimic is trying to emulate the stories in it's own code, and simulating similar entities and details into the games like Help wanted and such. Key thought being how at the beginning of Help wanted 1, saying that all these events were brought to light by an Indie game developer. Anyways, some food for thought from one of my stray thoughts, Love your theories and how you think and assess the info given in both games and books! Much Love!
@McCheeseincakesАй бұрын
I hate to be "that guy", but Steel Wool using book characters does not in any way make the stories from those books canon within the games world 1 to 1. During Scott's interview with Dawko, he made it known that his intentions for Afton's body during Security Breach was to be placed somewhere and obscured for the players to possibly come across, yet the developers at Steel Wool took it upon themselves to make Afton the final boss. Even though this was not Scott's intention, he rolled with the punches and they moved forward with the game SW was developing. I'm sorry but if Scott the head of this entire series was unable to get a very simple intention across to the game developers, then I highly doubt anyone working with Scholastic on these stories are doing or saying any more than Scott is to SW. He's letting creative people play in different sandboxes, and is letting them pick from each other's creativity to move the series forward in different ways. The books use characters created in the games, and the games are using characters created in the books, each are canon to their own lanes, and there is some crossover, but that Afton Security Breach fact alone tells me that they're isn't much conversating between the two outside of what Scott tells them.

Not to mention that it's likely that the books are cover stories created by Fazbear Entertainment. @@superlagbro192 I think it's a smart idea to have a team of writers cranking out books for the series, it brings new ideas to the table without having to have a massive effect on the series if they are received poorly. Fans should start looking at FNAF the way they do Marvel. There could be a thousand stories about Spider-Man going on at once, all of those stories are canon within their own books, and some ideas from those stories may be plucked to create TV shows, video games, and movies, which is pretty much what FNAF is doing these days, but on a much more relaxed level.

The thing is that the Fazbear Frights books and Tales from the Pizzaplex books are completely different series, I'm pretty sure nobody is arguing for Frights books being canon seriously with how wild they are, but with the new update it does add evidence to the Tales game theory. The Tales from the Pizzaplex books are much more inline with canon (at least recent canon), and In my opinion I think Scott was referring to Ruin AND the Tales books when he said they were course correcting the story after SB in his last interview.
