The charging pads definitely explain the mechanic of the animatronics returning to their spots in the stage or at leats just going further back into the restaurants insteadof all gathering in the office to target the player. I think "It's Me" means that spirits are trying to acknowledge who they are. "It is me, I am still me." The dead often forget, but they'll try to remember anyway. That's why anytime a character is asked who they are or dies in this book, they say "it's me." Including Ralph, Bronwen, and most likely Coppelia through Chica in that one ending.

I believe that instance of Ralph realizing he has been stuffed into a suit is meant to act as a hint to what “It’s Me” actually means. Ralph is trying to figure out what is going on, and comes to realize that this strange animatronic corpse that stinks is him, that is what he is now: “It’s Me”. It is not a way for an animatronic to reach out and say they are possessed, it is a form of clarification that the souls have embraced the new form they have taken on. It’s not “look, it’s me, the child!”, it’s “no, I’m not a child anymore, I’m this animatronic, it’s me.” This explains why the phrase is so associated with Golden Freddy, as they are the one who has most embraced their new identity, an identity where they are strong enough to take revenge on the one who killed them: “It’s me, Golden Freddy, the one that shouldn’t have been killed.”

I think it's the opposite, IT'S ME is the spirit recognizing who they are and what happened, and the reason we saw Golden Freddy saying that so much is because he was facing his brother Michael and so it was struggling really hard to remember who they were to not kill him and that would likely not happen if it was a random guard. Or maybe also David fighting control over Cassidy to not attack Michael, but it's the same process, that IT'S ME is the sentence coming out that works as a reaching out or statement in context but is mostly the spirit in the animatronic reminding itself who they are to fight his own programming or killing instincts

One thing I always wondered since the first game came out was why Golden Freddy was exclusively tied to “It’s Me” by the fandom. In the first game it flashed as a hallucination, became writing on the wall in the hall Chica and Freddy go down, and Foxy’s out of order sign text changed. Sure, GF was the most ghostly out of the 5, but it felt like the evidence wasn’t that concrete. In FNAF 2, “It’s me.” shows up after all the between night sections, and yes, while Golden Freddy was present for one of those sections, he isn’t present for the others, and “It’s me” still shows up. The first hard evidence came in FNAF World, where it is GF’s loading screen. I wonder if the intention always was that it was a phrase used my the spirits, but became hard shackled to Golden Freddy and Scott just kinda rolled with it for a while.
@Junya01

Yeah, Scott has said he's big on 80s stuff, that's what he grew up on. FNAF is essentially an 80s b movie franchise in terms of plot. Jason Voorhees being brought back to life via lightning for no reason, or Freddy Krueger being a guy who can just magically be in your dreams, are just as stupidly high concept as animatronics controlled by animalistic spirits of dead children, killed by a serial killer who died but returned as an undead slasher (see where I'm going with this?). So yeah, I do think it could be just generic 80s era ghost cliches.

I find it interesting that the daughter is named Coppelia since a ballet with the same name is about a mechanical doll called Coppelia whose creator or "dad" wants to give life to
@maceygarrett6368
@maceygarrett6368 3 ай бұрын
When I've watched and read discussions on this book, I haven't seen anyone else catch this detail: Coppelia's name. Coppelia is the name of a famous ballet and the story is very similar to FNAF. In the ballet a couple is getting ready to be married in a festival but the groom has fallen in love with another woman and he breaks into the woman's house to try and court her. The woman is actually a mechanical doll made by an old man who always wished for a family and created several mechanical dolls and he captures the groom in order to use his soul to bring his doll to life. The bride finds out about this and tricks the old man into sparing the groom's life by posing as the doll and making him believe it has come to life. I'm unsure if it has lore implications but it's definitely something a lot of people aren't looking into or even discussing.

@emmarosedewittbukater 2 ай бұрын
@@testerwulf3357There are definite parallels between the ballet and the story of FNaF, specifically regarding Michael and his children, specifically Elizabeth. The idea is that there is a lifelike mechanical doll created by a man so obsessed with bringing her to life that he tries to kill a man to do it. He's an inventor -there are a bunch more wind up dolls in his workshop. The idea doesn't have to be unique to either - it's just a distinct feature of both of these stories. I think the distinct part that you're missing is using a soul to try and bring life not to just any object, but specifically to a humanoid machine built as a surrogate child. The ideas specifically of trying to bring a child to life, murder to harvest souls, and automatons/animatronics are all present. It's an interesting tidbit of information for the name of a child here. Coppélia is the name specifically of the doll in the ballet, and it's that name specifically that Scott chose for Ralph's daughter. It's just kinda neat.

I might have not read the books, or played the games, but this gives me a thought: What if the "It's me" is not directed at you (ralph, the player in the games, etc.) But at themselves? Let me explain: In one of the endings of into the pit we see that oswald forgets his name slowly, and forgets who he is slowly. And it seems obvious that that is what happens to the kids in the animatronics, who seem to know they are originally kids, and keep a few memories, but not many, and that they start to lose themselves, so the "it's me" could be them trying to remind themselves of who they are, and it could be like they say "It's me" when they get a memory of who they could be, as a way to try to memorise that to themselves, like a mantra. That could be why golden freddy becomes "the one you should not have killed", because for some reason that one child has the most memories, or the most vivid ones, about their death, so they are constantly trying to remind themselves of what happened, so they never forget to make william afton pay. That would make them the one that would be the most connected to the "it's me".

You also have to consider memonic collective memory - a lot of fans have never played the games (which is a shame, fnaf 1 was truly unique and innovative at the time) so whatever info they have on "it's me" is based purely on what KZbinrs and theorists tell them. We also know Scott evolves his story over time based on the perceptions of that story by the fans in the previous games, so I wouldn't be surprised if "it's me" being a golden Freddy thing was just the fans gaslighting Scott into making it canon. I'm glad Scott seems to be revealing more of his original plans for the OG fnaf era (1-6) through these books and other games like the kart racer spin-off, it's good to stick to a vision rather than give in to what the fans think or want to believe imo That being said, no hate towards anyone in particular, just my thoughts based on playing some of the games and being a fan since the first one came out

Things I think. 1. I think the it’s me like could be a sign of the souls inside the animatronics trying to reach out to someone they know or someone they think they know. 2. If Brownen somehow knew about the animatronics plan to escape it’s possible that she may have also been aware of all the other things going on at fazbears. 3. I think it’s possible we might see cappelia in the future either in another book or a future game. 4. Maybe golden Freddy is speaking through the other animatronics like how in UCN golden Freddy/cassidy speaks through the mediocre melodies. 5. Maybe the reason why the animatronics become dangerous and murderous is because they don’t have a figure like the puppet to keep them at ease and instead they have golden Freddy who pretty much enables their dangerous behavior.

I don’t remember the last time I was this interested in a fnaf book (despite having read many). All the revelations and answers to stuff from the first game make SO much sense. Describing the bite of 83, why there’s power balancing in fnaf 1, and ITS ME dude. That’s such a smart idea, the souls crying out that they are NOT Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. They’re Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, and Fritz. I’m so excited to see what’s coming next for these interactive novels and what answers they give. Some questions still remain (primarily to golden Freddy) but I’m still so excited for the future.

I'm really hoping we get new interactive novels surrounding each of the games as a means of providing for context for them. Right now we got "The Week Before" for FNaF 1, "Return to the Pit" for Into the Pit, and "Escape from the Pizzaplex" for Security Breach. Imagine if we got a Sister Location novel that provides more context for Circus Baby's Pizza World as well as the events leading up to the rental service or before the game itself, maybe they could even provide context for whatever "Chica's Party World" was.

I always figure the whole "they stuff you into a suit because it's against the rules for an endo to be without a suit" as either valid for the antimatronic a.i. to be extra scary in not realizing what a person is (with the interpretation that there are no ghosts and the real horror is in a.i. takeover) or the company knowing what's happening and just lying as an excuse of why people keep getting stuffed into suits, knowing full well what's happening but being unable to stop it.

this might be nothing, but... that song, "The Secret Ingredient is You" could be one of those songs performed as a call-and-response with kids in the audience. When Freddy sings "The secret ingredient is you," the kids respond "it's me." This would also have the double meaning of the kids' agony being the secret ingredient for Afton's experiments. If that song is the last thing Dave heard before the bite, maybe it's on repeat in his mind even after death, and all the instances we see and hear of "it's me" are all the spirits responding to the song. As new victims succumb in Freddy's locations, they hear the song and are pulled into the call-and-response with the others as they die. 🎵"The secret ingredient is you."🎵 "It's me."

I feel like it's a bit of a stretch but this could also be why all of them say that phrase could be from when they initially went missing. After all it's possible their parents, police officers, others looking for them would come by, maybe even declare their intention to find a specific kid by name. "It's me" being something the animatronic is attempting to say to whoever it is. "It's me, I'm right here, It's me, It's me" their cries, their desires to be found not fully coming out, the only thing they can manage to say because of trying is just the phrase "It's me".

The animatronics wanting to leave the restaurant ties them very interestingly with Ennard. If you go with Ennerd/MoltenMCI, it gives you a very strong baseline for Ennard being desperate to escape through Mike. Its not a new motivation- the souls have been trying to leave for years. Sister Location is just the perfect opportunity. They were never mindless, just trapped and wanting to go home.

I think that maybe "It's me" is so repeated because it might be the last thing the children heard before William Afton killed them. Since he used the Golden Bonnie suit to disguise himself and lure the kids away, he might have very well gone "Hey kids, *it's me!* Your friend Bonnie" and this disguise is what lingers with them. The bodies being stuffed into the suits is, in a sick way, them also being disguised like William, so when Michael goes to FNAF 1 looking like William, it might be the animatronics (or at least Golden Freddy) throwing that "IT'S ME" line back at him

I believe golden freddy has some psychic manipulative ability - likely due to having no physical form, and being the MOST vengeful of the spirits I think "It's Me" is a projection from the perceiver POV The thing you're hallucinating is you - but thats golden freddy's signature; the causing of you to hallucinate When have we ever had golden freddy in a game - but also heard child laughter? Perhaps that ambience is all caused by golden freddy "It's Me" is a play on words. It's you, the one hellucinating (ergo in your head) but it's also golden freddy causing you to hellucinate

Theory on the "it's me" mental trick: human brains and nerves work with electricity, just as the animatronics, so maybe the animatronics somehow manipulate the electricity in the person's brain and system to come up with the thought of the words "it's me". Perhaps the electricity that is used to control the voicelelines in the suits is the same means of electrical currents they use to force the thought tobhra the words, which is why it's still limited despite the idea being influencing the person's thoughts. If the animatronics had more voiceless to choose from with a smarter a.i. and vocabulary to choose from, then maybe they would do the same with more complex options of forcing thoughts.

FNAF 1 doesn’t seem to close in the year 1993, which confirm 2023 isn’t the year FNAF 3 and Pizza SIM take place, by due process that means the logbook real value is correct that FNAF 3 is in 2017, 30 years after FNAF 2 closing. (You may ask how, well Ralph died on the first week FNAF 1 location was open, right before your shift. If 1993 was a popular year for pizza goers as FNAF SB said that means in the 2 mouth the location was open that year let Fazbear have a big boom in profit and no reason to close that year, this also means the poster was talking about the closing of the FNAF 83 location closure due to no one wanting go back after the missing kids incident as it reek of death) This also means Afton didn’t die that year and more likely died sometime after 2000, maybe exactly the year 2000 at earliest, why? Well Vanessa dad as much it seem like a stretch at first when we got her birthday year being 97 and the community thought William died in 93 well that’s not true anymore and now William death at earliest is 2000 due to the trauma divorce, some may think that Elizabeth backstory but it literally can’t do the therapist knowing Vanessa mother personally and would call out that immediately. So if Vanessa remember her dad that means William was alive up until any year between 2000-2016. 2000 is my best guess as that the year in the Movie universe that William got trapped.

>30 years after FNAF 2 closing. ??? Why FNAF 2 specifically. >FNAF 1 doesn’t seem to close in the year 1993 Technically correct, since 1992. >well Ralph died on the first week FNAF 1 location was open, right before your shift. There's NO evidence at all that the FNAF 1 location just opened i'm pretty certain, infact the FNAF 1 Newspapers state that the place has been struggling for a long while prior, possibly years. >and no reason to close that year The FNAF 1 location is a LITERAL fucking Dump. It's a Run Down Shithole with smelly old animatronics and probably Rats in the Kitchen. Nobody wants to buy the place. >also means the poster was talking about the closing of the FNAF 83 location closure due to no one wanting go back after the missing kids incident as it reek of death) To quote: "After a long struggle to stay in business after the tragedy that took place there many years ago, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza has announced that it will close by year’s end. Despite a year-long search for a buyer, companies seem unwilling to be associated with the company." If the MCI occurs in 1985, the "many years ago" would at LEAST have it be open by FNAF 2 (2 years later), which it CANNOT be as the Withereds had been left to rot for 2 years, and were transferred to the New Location in 87. So, it cannot possibly be referring to the MCI Location in any way, especially when SL states it suddenly closed (likely because of that Murder Spree). Thus, it *has* to be the FNAF 1 location, the one that's been open for likely several years, is ALSO the MCI Location, and LOOKS like it's a run down dump on a pocket change budget...

As you were describing all the instances of It's Me in this book, it started to seem pretty clear to me that It's Me is meant to represent a spirt attempting to communicate something to the living, whether that's the missing kids saying It's Me or David Afton saying It's Me or Bronwen saying It's Me or Ralph's daughter saying It's Me. It's an attempt at communication in a way that they're not fully capable of from beyond the grave.

After reading the book, my pervading thoughts on 'IT'S ME' are that it operates similar to the Doctor Who episode with the gas mask boy who asks "Are you my mummy?" Like Rye mentioned in this video, I believe it's the spirits inside the animatronics trying to reach out and be recognised. But I don't think the words have anything to do with programming. Rather, I think it's just an expression of their desire to be recognised as more than the animatronic they inhabit. "I want to be noticed." Becomes "It's me" in the same way that "Are you my mummy" was the gas mask kid's way of reaching out, trying to find a connection and feel safe again. I also imagine, given that we see a handful of different spirits talk through the same animatronics in this book, that it is hard for one spirit to take the stage (pun intended) to identify themselves. Imagine you have DID but no alter was fronting. How would you identify yourself? "I am me" "It's me". Maybe "it's us" with that example, but I doubt the spirits can work together in the same way a DID system might in some cases to express themselves as a unit. It seems to me that there are many more spirits present within Golden Freddy and perhaps the rest of the cast than we initially thought. The MCI is important because those deaths are the breadcrumbs we as the players and Michael followed to piece together what happened and take down William. But in the aftermaths of those deaths, I now believe that anyone killed by the vengeance seeking animatronics became a part of their spirit-network. A thousand souls all reaching out, hoping to find someone that might recognise them, might save them. "It's me." And like the stitchwraith, despite their intentions they murder, possibly because of William's, or Cassidy's, control. Another thought occured to me, and I realise how contentious this idea is. But as I was thinking about all this, I kept being reminded of Glamrock Freddy's line "I am not me." It feels like it's meant as a contrast to "it's me". I'm not necessarily saying he's possessed, it could just be his AI gaining sentience as many believe. But regardless, it feels purposeful.
