I’m pretty sure Jeff usually uses “does not count” in the case of idol plays, but sometimes says “will not count”. I’m actually pretty sure in a recent season he said both at one tribal council EDIT: Finally found out which one, it was in Island of the Idols when Jack is blindsided he first says "Dean, does not count", then for the second vote it's "Dean, will not count" and then he goes back to "does not count" for the rest of them

Ozzy was a spoiled brat that season. Parvati did nothing. Yul is both boring and sanctimonious. Candice and Cao Boi were great, but the former lacked screentime and the other left too soon. The challenges were not unique and the mutiny caused production to rig the show so a minority would win.

It’s so strange how amazing Amanda Kimmel was as a contestant, was favored by production, and did well every single season she went in (and she went in China, Micronesia, and HvV) and is NEVER mentioned or really discussed. She was one of the first women to find an idol (Micronesia she was the only woman who was capable and did), actually got to choose herself to get rid of Cirie (argued to be the best player who has never won), then somehow consistently beat the villans top women and got the heroes back on track when they were losing (but it clearly started to go quickly thanks to Candice), not to mention her original season she was the only reason her tribe had a chance as they did boy v girl challenges and no girl other then Amanda could compete. She was also so gorgeous and it just marks me as funny because she’s guaranteed the best contestant who never won because all 3 seasons she lasted til the very end except HvV, where she went out third on the jury. She beat Cirie every single season she was with her in. Parvati relied on Amanda in the beginning swaying Cirie in and in the end taking out alexis, manipulating Erik, and taking her to the end if Amanda went on her superwoman streak which happened after they got Erik out. She’s got quite a streak and I guarantee she could probably navigate a current game pretty well.

I think she had a great chance on winning on both seasons she made it to final tribal council but her lackluster performance in convincing the jury members to vote for her did her in. I remember Jeff saying to her that's she's a good player but she backs off and downplays her game moves which deters people from voting for her at the end.

I think the difference between her and Cirie though is that in three of Cirie’s four seasons, she wins convincingly if she makes it to the end and just barely gets snubbed by random twists that she can’t even possibly play around (not knowing the final 2 twist until it literally happens, advantagegeddon sniping her out), while Amanda makes it to FTC twice but can’t convince a jury to vote for her despite playing well both times. There’s more glaring flaws in Amanda’s games than Cirie’s.

Spawning several iconic returnees like Ozzy, Penner, and Parv, that shape several seasons in the shows future, and even without them has a sleu of endearing one-timers like Chao-Boi. Tells a compelling story of mutiny and payback. The seasons winner Yul playing one of the most cerebral and diplomatic games in the show's history. Fun Challenges The Billy Candice debacle... Cook Islands is an AMAZING season! The handful of stars in the cast and the awesome mutiny storyline make it a top 10 season AT LEAST. You upset a lot of fans with that joke smh. I do LOVE your channel btw. Keep up the good work!

Maaaan, here I was hoping this video was gonna be about Jeff having the mandela effect. Ben in Samoa is the "first kicked out of a challenge" as if half the cast weren't kicked out of a challenge in Thailand, "JT played the first perfect game" as if he hadn't already made the same claims about Earl in Fiji before later arbitrarily changing the definition of a perfect game, "a swap like this never happened before" at the swap in EoE as if the All Stars swap wasn't the exact same "tribes stay together except for one person" dynamic, Jeff acting like Chris D. was the worst person ever in Vanatu's reunion despite praising the hell out of BostonRob the previous one for the exact same behavior, and all the other times Jeff claims something is happening "for the first time" when in reality it had happened before.

To be fair on the whole "Earl played a perfect game" one, at the reunion I think everyone thought Earl played a perfect game because nobody remembered that random vote he got from Rita. But yeah Probst is an asshole who could care less about the truth, it's all about whatever he wants the narrative to be.
@spencerclark4726
@spencerclark4726 2 жыл бұрын
@@Captain-Sum.Ting-Wong The definition of a "perfect game" is arbitrary anyway. Considering there's multiple ways to possibly measure perfection in Survivor: - Wins unanimously at FTC - Never once receives a vote for them (what if, like Jeremy, they get votes but they're voided by an idol play?) - Has a perfect track-record for voting correctly every time - Wins every single possible immunity (Tom Westman in Palau was the only person to come close, won every tribal immunity and all but two individual immunities) So like, wouldn't a TRUE perfect game be a unanimous win, perfect immunity run, with a perfect voting track-record? lol
