I will hit LIKE on this video every day and twice on Sunday. You hit the nail on the head with, “You have to play the shot you have.” There are going to be days when you can hit draws all day long. There are going to be days when you hit a fade, a cut, a push, etc. Play the shot you got that day. If you know that 70% of the time you’re going to hit a push fade with your driver - play the high percentage shot. Also, spend 80% of your time working on your 100 yards and in game and the rest of the time on everything else.

As a young fella. I'd always tee up as high as i could. Looking at point of impact and bottom of swing. I moved tee down for irons... Best shot ever on a par three. 2 other playas thought it hit the pin. But I'm pretty sure it just checked up on tbe green from the spin❤ Highly recommend this... and MrShortGame

Thanks for the tee height tip. I went to a course for the first time yesterday. I noticed my buddy who I played with who has been playing a few years was using the tee height with his irons. I did not dare to ask why he did that. not knowing the rules I thought he was cheating. Thanks for this vid and rationale for the tee heights.

Okay so I watched this video thinking I don't need this but I enjoy Mr shortgame's video and thought I'd give it a check out to see where I was at. Nothing changed for my driver or my woods off the tee box pretty much I was doing the same thing as recommended. but my tee shots on the part threes with my irons were way higher and the tip helped a lot missed holding a shot yesterday by 18 in :-)

Hi Matt, great advice on the tee heights for thousands of weekend golfers out there. I work as a Starter at Pronghorn Resort in Bend Oregon. I see it all on the Tee Box, everything you showed and much more on how golfers incorrectly tee up there golf balls. Another very good video. PS, you seem to be talking and moving a little slow maybe a few more cups of coffee before you start. Joking Ha ha If you ever come up to Bend Oregon give me a look up on Facebook and I will give my mobile#. I will hook you up for some rounds up here. Bob Firth
