I had to think about Ragnar's death for weeks, because i was so obsessed with his character. He was the Face of the show and his death was kind of sad. Travis Fimmel did an amazing job of playing his role. The music in the death scene was also amazing which made it even more sad.

@@RagnarokMic It was never great for me; the only impressive thing it had a few "epic" scenes with better budget but besides that all meaningless and repetitive. Could fool any new comers with those moments but when you actually watch it's very monotonous and boring I almost fell asleep the whole season 5 and 6 so did my father. We had to just wait for a Battle to happen when Ragnar and Ecbert were alive it was more than that.

I understand the reason for him dying but I just couldn't get into the other characters a much, Bjorn was close but that's because of the history from the 1st episode. How I got attached to the characters has not been done like this show, the acting was outstanding specially Travis Fimmel, who for me was robed for an acting award for this show. Out of all of the characters that died, Ivar’s made we cry for days. Such amazing acting from that actor that played him. All of the acting & visuals in this show was sublime.
