Its not "dying" the youtubers/streamers who gate keep avoid talking about the game. Trust me, when they add sync'd traffic it will be game over for the rest of these triple A titles. You have an underground street racing, track racing, drift, drag, open world 16 player private lobby car game that has robust tuning as you can stance your cars to your liking. Name me 1 car game out now that touches all of these for a $20 price tag? Ill wait.

I'm running a 3080 with an i5 12700k and plenty of ram, have it installed on an ssd, considered moving it to my nvme but it's clear after seeing a variety of KZbinrs having the same issues that the problem isn't my system

Dubs made himself look an ignorant idiot with his last video. (I like his vids and content too, but he needs to confirm his sources before making absurd accusations) I bought the deluxe edition day one and it stated in the description that the sunset speedway DLC was included and we will get it when it was released. The devs changed this a while after release to not include the dlc and removed that part from the description (it still states this on the german and french versions of the steam carx street page, the devs slipped up amd forgot to delete this too). After purchasing when i visited the page for the speedway DLC it showed as "in my library" Then a week or two after release when the devs changed the deluxe edition contents they also deleted the sunset speedway DLC page from steam thus removing it from anyone who bought the deluxe edtions account also, they then created a new page for the DLC days later but it was no longer attatched to anyones account meaning if we want it we have to purchase it, again. Now ive tried contacting their support via three different methods and have been ignored completely. I dont have an issue with the price of the DLC, what i do have issue with is the shady practices they used to get us to buy the deluxe edition (i dont care for the deluxe cars i only dot that edition for the dlc) only to pull the rug afterwards and hope we spend more money. If they never lied in the first place i would have bought the dlc when it was released a few days ago. The steam reviews and the steam forum for the game are filled with people who have had the same experience as myself. Proper shady tactics from these ropey developers. Shame as i actually really enjoy the game.

there is also another big problem i find in leather boards, people been using the old Air Ressistance in their cars, a air ressistance that now in days is imposible to make (they running old Air ressistance that is down to 1.7 while now the minimun people can get it is to 1.95, makes a big difference from C4 to C6) the reason the old players have it is bcause its a car that was tunned before the patch that nerfed the air ressistance, so as long as you didnt toudh or moved your old one, you would keep the 1.7 while those who missed the oportumnity cant compete it needs to be brought up more by the people so the devs fix it, in my opinion by reverting it back to min 1.7 air ressistance, that way is a leveled feild in tunning

Great video bro i agree 100%. The game is not dying imo...Carx Drift on steam also had this same amount of players for many years.. We are currently in the process of catching up with the mobile version pretty damn fast too and i believe we shall see the community really growing when the console version drops and we have more people playing the game in general. Imo this is one of the coolest racing games to come out in 10 years or more.... im like over 600 hours in and still having alot of fun building cars, drifting and now racing too

We like to have the replay mode after each race or drift so you can enjoy the replay from your lap and we can make videos from them. Any video from carx street at sosials..is a way of advertisment after all. Also i lag as hell too and my pc isnt too old. I have rtx 2060 and still i cant see the road when i first login and try to race at city center.

I wish they bring back the steering with the mouse thing.. also imagine a way to dynamically drive the car with the mouse movement like you're moving the mouse forward and the car drives faster if you're not moving the mouse than that is the speed you're driving it and to slow down you just slide the mouse backwards huh?

I thought I was the only one getting the stutters. I noticed it once the update came out with the gt40. I just built my first pc about 3 weeks ago. I have the rx7900xt with ryzen 7700x cpu and getting great fps and visuals. For the first like 30 hours of gameplay it was flawless then all of a sudden started just started freezing. Figures right as I start making content too lol. Great game though. Do wish street coin was a bit easier to come across.

I'm honestly surprised my rig was able to even run it. even on the updates before they made the hdd optimizations, I was doing ok for a couple hours before I had to close the game. and I've got a 1060 with an i5-7800k, and an hdd. it's crazy how generally well the game runs on lowest graphics for me. when it comes to the dlc, if they keep adding extra map portions and pricing them, I might change my mind on recommending it. the current full price, which includes the deluxe edition that's just a couple extra bucks, is $35.36. that's insane for what you're getting. basically half price for your average open world racing game. I think the dlc parts should be available to regular cars as well if you're gonna tune for drifting, at some high price. definitely don't make another currency. I don't want to see this become asphalt 8. hopefully they fix those stutters sooner rather than later. I think I noticed em more recently but I also have a really low end rig so I just assumed it was my pc, lmao the livery editor is good but the controls are a bit finicky on controller. sometimes you have to spend extra layers just to make sure that extra piece is gone. obviously I'd like to see more interaction with the international playerbase, more map, more cars is nice. I'm not sure why we're being negative nancies with this game. I like it a lot. I need to get a proper controller that has analog triggers, cause I have a switch controller I use for pc and it's only got on or off on the triggers, man. full gas or full brake is crazy.

I think the biggest problem to car x street is the fact they made two different games one clearly better and than act like everything fine. Mobile has heen complaining for literal years for fixes or even slight QOL changes and now pc is starting to see those changes. If they simply made 1 version of the game for all it will make things so much easier for them to deal with but they didnt so now u have two groups of people upset at stuff that wouldnt happen if they simply followed how other games have been doing mobile. Mobile isnt that same market where people will just throw money for currency anymore so they need to change that as well

I’m all for paying for DLC, plus this being so cheap, it’s a non issue. The best compromise they could do is to have any map expansion be free, but clubs, cars and others dlc related content can be kept under a price tag so if you want the new content, pay for it, if not, you get an empty map expansion to drive around.

thats the biggest issue. CarX "promised" those who pre-ordered the Deluxe ver of the game on Steam were supposed to get the Sunset Speedway DLC for free. But it lists as a DLC that i need to pay money to get to play the "new map" In the mobile ver, the track can be unlocked either by paying some money or completing one of the car club Pythons and the place is unlocked. The only difference between the mobile and PC is the addition of the CarX ver of the Nurburgring which was teased on mobile. Dubs calling us stupid for this rant is pretty stupid of him imo. Maybe he didnt pre order the game i dont know but a lot of ppl in the discord and steam page are complaining about this. Nuff said

Dont have good hardware? I built my pc to run star citizen. 3060. Ryzen 7 something. And 64 gigs ddr4. And i got the game in a m.2 its not optimized. Theyll get it together soon. They need to figure out traffic before they can optimize the rest.
