In this video I will talk about the biggest problem that Generation Z is facing. It's not social media, procrastination, junk food etc. The problem is actually way more deeper than that. #selfimprovement #genz

Honestly, I feel like it's all about balance. Too much fun and you lose sight of your goals, but too little can hinder the enjoyment of life.

Gen Z's biggest problem is lack of connection and community. And that's not their fault at all. Existing communities were destroyed by the previous generations, mainly the Boomers and Gen X, and they didn't replace them with anything worthwhile. Millennials (my generation) have this same problem, though not as bad as Gen Z. It's up to us, Millennials and Gen Z, to fix the problem.

I used to play multiplayer games, and they were addicting. I'm glad I stopped early before I got more addicted. Nowadays, I play single player games that I hop on every once in a while. I'm glad to see someone my age motivate me. Thanks bro, cheers!

Thank you for this video, this was a reminder that came in the exact time I needed to hear it. It's really nice to hear words like this in a society that values materialistic things more than anything else. It's time to start living for the things we truly value in our hearts. God bless, Hardi!

Perfectly said bro, we ought to take accountability for our actions & change our perspectives even if it makes us lose people; so long as we feel well about the changes we make, people who share that same values & mindset will naturally come in to your life.

I reckon Gen Z is meant to be aimless at this point in time to bare witness to how bad things get without magnanimous nurture and leadership. If they were successful in this world, then they'd be less motivated to change it. (For example boomers who own property are less motivated to change the world because they have accumulated assets in it, they harbour competitive scarcity mentality and sunk cost fallacy.) Perhaps Gen Z's purpose isn't in *_this_* world; it's in creating the *_next_* world.

That's a great perspective to have, I haven't thought about it like that before.

@@hkoidu I'm glad it resonated with you! People are led to believe the 'real world' is fixed, like gravity. But it's just a collection of choices, and choices can be changed. When we swing open the doors of our perception to infinite possibilities, we start laying a path for change. Our imagination starts the rendering, our choices feed them, and our beliefs either throttle or expand them.

Lack of direction, of good advice, of answers. Too much confusion about the future and about what to do now.

Great video, and some of the best advice I've ever heard online! You mention that you haven't played videogames in ages. So I mainly play one "game" called iRacing, and as you could guess it's a racing game. Okay, well technically it's a simulator, as it simulates real racecar racing on a computer(you can kind of see my racing wheel in my PFP). Basically, would you say all gaming is bad? Or is it alright, as long as it's in moderation? For instance, I make sure to balance my gaming time by getting outside and in nature often. I usually go biking, sometimes I'm hiking, and just generally go outside and walk around in my yard(we live on a property with almost 3 acres, and are surround by forest and woods which I like to just walk through sometimes). I also am part of a martial arts class, which is three times a week and is a significant workout. I also am a working teen right now. In my free time after all of that, I usually jump on iRacing, and sometimes Minecraft to enjoy some gaming. So would you say that this is still healthy, or is gaming something that you'd not recommend doing at all? Coming from a 17 year old who is trying to change and be happier in life in general. I have been getting more optimistic since I've been watching your vids BTW!

Thanks! I don't play video games because from my experience these can interfere with me trying to achieve my goals, however it seems like you're already making great progress and actually living your life, so if you want to play games then go ahead as long as they don't distract you from your goals/work

nothing wrong from playing a videogame from time to time.
@hkoiduАй бұрын
Yeah if you have the willpower to not get addicted. But nowadays video games are just so stimulating that most people that play them get so addicted they don't even do their work and they waste their life. So better just to stay away from them IMO
@grzegorzdziedzic9592Ай бұрын
@@hkoidu I play old games, one level or two a day.

Yeah, also staring at screens all day is not healthy, but what you DO on screens is even more unhealthy. Like scrolling through yt shorts is not very healthy, or productive. (Depending on what you watch) but there are also things you can do on screens that are productive, like making animations like I do. Right now I’m working on making my own show. I had to use my brain and write out the script, (on my phone) and then I have to animate it, which takes a lot of time and patience, and requires you to use your brain
@hkoiduАй бұрын
I agree, by staring at screens I mean consuming useless content, short form content and social media posts. If you're doing something productive then it's okay to spend your time behind the computer, like I'm editing vids for example💪
